Funnily enough that just what I told a mate an hour ago.

Fitzy was terrific and is steadily becomining co-ordinated. Very impressed by Sheahan and Tynan. Gys reads a pack very well and just needs a strong preseason without further injury to blossom next year.

Welcome AD. Lived in NY for a couple of years in the '70's. Have followed the Dees for 60 years and, unlike most here, have actually seen them win 4 flags. Hang tough 'cause I think we're on the road to glory once again - they've got to win one more before I croak.
-
If, as I have been told, he was behind the rapid rise of Pendlebury, then hopefully we'll see the same with the Gys. A full pre-season and an injury free run will tell us a lot.
-
I, too, have been informed that he was told to trim down and didn't. My problem with him (and I have liked him as a player for a long time) is that he is a bit of a one trick pony, and that trick doesn't work too well any more. I have become ambivalent about him, so que sera sera.

You clearly don't know much footy history. They have won 2 games. Double the number we won in 1981. Look at the ladders over the last 115 years. You might learn something.

Perhaps his looking through the big picture goggles caused the reality bus to stall on the way to the confidence shop.

When their older players retire it's going to be diabolical for them. They are in a truly sorry state. -
If a gambler wanted to influence the result of a game they could offer a fortune to an umpire - it would only take a few important decisions to affect the result or who kicks the 1st goal etc. And the irony would be that the Geish wouls most likely support the decisions.
-
Keep. Has been working his guts out. Thumping kick and a reasonable decision maker

6 Dunn 5 Howe 4 Grimes 3 Joel Mac 2 Trenners 1 Sellar

Don't let BarnDee read this, or he'll be after you

I'm sure he's shaking in his boots

Gave his all - can't ask for more than that. 150 games with his talent says a lot about the man.
-
Remember 186 and his role in it. Unfortunately he is playing worse than his peers in a very poor midfield. Jones keeps getting better, the kids are improving and will continue to do so. Moloney isn't and won't. Experienced players are needed, but only if they add to the team. This year he hasn't and therefore let him go.
-
We are improving. We had one player with 150+ games, StKilda had 10. 'nuff said!
-
Watch the interview with him on deetv post match - he aint goin' anywhere!
-
6 Blease - showing why he was drafted so highly 5 Pencil - has improved markedly with every game 4 Dunn - becoming very reliable as is 3 Joel Mac 2 Jones - never gives up 1 Tommy Mc - despite the brainfades, always takes the game on
-
Meh!
-
Add Nicho to that list. Prior to his injury his kicking had shown marked improvement. Also Joel Mac.
-
Agreed. In the past few weeks he's been better than OK.

The disposal figures I use come from a company that defines disposal efficiency as 'that which results in an attacking or effective defensive thrust for the team'. Disposals that result in a teammate being put under unnecessary pressure is assessed as ineffective.
-
His disposal efficiency is 2.5% above the AFL average. It amazes me how so many of you can only see the negatives in everything and averyone involved with this club.
-
Stop being sensible and positive dj - it just doesn't fit in here. Some of the negative posts make Wallsy look like a happy man instead of the bitter twisted lemon he is.
