  1. I also enjoy reading and sometimes posting on both sites. Would love to attend but the hour's drive home would ensure that I would be in trouble from my carlton supporting partner. As it is I'll be at a mate's house watching while she watches her blues (hopefully) get beaten at home.
  2. noooooooooooooooooooooo
  3. 70% DE. All his errors were in the last quarter - 1st senior game tired badly
  4. 6 Martin was fantastic today 5 Jones is becoming elite 4 Tommy Mc hard to believe he has played less than 20 games 3 Joel Mac 20+ possies @86% DE 2 Frawley 1 Garland
  5. Is good. Thank you
  6. Neeld has had 11 players missing every week. The skills (71% DE cf Richmond's 69%) were bad but are actually improving. I notice the Neeld knockers run and hide their thoughts on the odd winning occasion. When this team is going places in 2 - 3 years you'll all be clambouring on Neeld's wagon. Richmond have had 4 years of Hardwick and still aren't much. We'll be better after 4 years of MN. Collingwood had 10 years under MM, and Buck's hasn't changed the way they play much. 4 years ago everyone said WCE were rubbish and the chemist should be sacked. I'm glad none of you weak (censored) weren't around me 40 years ago backing me up.
  7. 6 Jones 5 Nicho with an unusual 83% DE 4 Dunn 3 Watts even with 3 clangers still had 82%DE and made good decisions 2 Martin 1 Spencer Sylvia's opponent had 10 more disposals than him; his DE was 52% - just not good enough with his talent!
  8. His disposal is ordinary unless he's under pressure. His disposal efficiency increases when he's under physical pressure, as does his decision-making (which can be ordinary when he has time and space). He should just play instinctually instead of thinking.
  9. As an old fella (I've actually seen us win 4 flags) that thread title was not good for my health. Naughty!
  10. 6 Howe as he never stopped trying 5 Watts with 95% DE, and great vision 4 MacDonald who for once actually disposed well and never gave up 3 Sellar also never gave up 2 Martin - a ruckman who had 21 possessions 1 Sylvia although he never really imposed himself
  11. 6 Jones 5 Watts 4 Dunn 3 Tommy 2 Clark 1 Rivers
  12. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jai Sheahan upgraded in the next couple of weeks. Another versatile tall who has played really well at Casey in defence.
  13. I tipped 5 wins for the 1st half, and I find myself doing the same now. Hope I'm as much out the other way this time.
  14. I love that naughty boy. More please!
  15. 6 Watts 5 Grimes 4 Jones 3 Rivers 2 Garland 1 Sellar
  16. 6 Jones 5 Rivers 4 McDonald 3 McKenzie 2 Blease 1 Nicholson
  17. I'd name names, but promised I wouldn't. I will say he will be going to Essendon.
  18. Thank heavens Lyon is not here. One of the kids drafted by Freo can't wait for the 2 years to be up, and says every other draftee feels the same way (bar one). He talks to his father twice a week and has consistently said that all (bar one) of the kids under 20 can't stand Lyon - he lies to them and they have no trust or faith in him at all. Lyon has played one new draftee this year - oddly enough a 4th rounder whose father is one of his best mates. The kid has also told his dad that his game is not being developed and is afraid that he is going backwards. Nevertheless one Victorian club (not us) has committed to taking him at the end of 2013. We should be looking at their kids.
  19. He'll probably be drinking it in the grandstand while laughing and waving on camera.
  20. I'm actually stupid enough to think we'll win 7 - 8
  21. 6 Watts 5 Jones 4 Blease
  22. There are more football 'journos' (most an insult to what was once a profession) than there are AFL players on lists. And there'll always be morons who want to read them - and then there's those who actually take them seriously.
  23. Although I believe that we're about a month away from turning it all around, a win this week would not surprise me.
