Makes good decisions, kicks beautifully - his handballing needs to get better. I rated him just above Macrae as an under 18. I still rate him as just above him, but both will be very good.

Dmitri has had 2 hip operations -one on each in june and july last year. That is only a year ago. A light preseason followed. How odd that a year after his ops he is now starting to understand the speed if the game. I had him rated =1 with whitfield as an U18 He was captain of ths SA U18's last year,even though they knew he was injured. Will be a gun and a future leader.

I've seen him play about 8 games, and still don't know if he's worth chasing. He's shown class, skill, and good decision making at times. He's also shown poor skills and decision making, and a few instances of ball gazing. So he reminds me a lot of a number of our players. Except that he seems more up himself.

He's been off the grog since his liver transplant - so imagine how good he'll be sober.
