From the limited footage I have seen of him - I have not watched EssUndone games since their systematic cheating scheme was first revealed - he certainly doesn't appear to be slow though. And he can kick!

We have many more and better quality mids than in previous years but the Swans have more mature hardened bodies and have been playing as a unit far longer. We are getting there compare our mid unit with one or two years back. Good observation.

I certainly only saw bits of the game but I find it interesting to observe that in a game against a very mature battle hardened side in awfully challenging conditions Hunt and Wagner appear frequently in the posters' assessment of better players on this site. Would anyone in their wildest dreams have thought that this could happen prior to the season? Good recruiting, great development. Hats off to those departments. Anyone who saw the Casey game today: Hulett kicked a bag of goals but wasn't mentioned in the better players. Just right place right time or what? Did the bag enhance his prospects? What position (such as they are these days) did he play? Was the absence of the Weed a help to him? Thanks.

The AFL should get off their arses and somehow run a deal with the VFL and ensure that this absolutely pathetic counterproductive succession of byes does not happen again starting 2017. They need to either add a club or remove a club, perhaps through mergers. Amateurish management of what should be, or at least claims to be the support competition for Victorian clubs .
