  1. Must be why our professional recruiting team went for him then. Pity they didn't consult you first.
  2. And don't forget, like him or not, Milkshake will be available next year presumably earmarked as a defender with disposal skills.
  3. I will have to disagree - Pedo has marked, kicked goals, dropped down back when needed and done effective ruck work.
  4. I see him as one of those who sort of slip under the radar. A lot of hard inside work and not a lot of flash or flair. Just gets the job done. Won't be a champion but a cog in the wheel.
  5. We would need to, for a change, win every "should win" game and pinch another or two. Wishful? Hopeful? Dreaming is still allowed.
  6. I must admit to being far more impressed with what he offers, even at this early stage, than I expected to ever be. When Salem recovers, and gets fully fit again, he will be competing with Hunt and Wagner for the HBF role. IMVHO H offers less, even right now and certainty looking forward than does Jayden and Wagner. H just frenetically runs off HB and bombs away like a headless chook: these two at least appear to think about their disposal most of the time and have a far bigger upside for our future plans. IF we were realistically headed for finals this year I would give H more games, maybe, but this is looking more and more unlikely.
  7. But, you two, who deserves to come in who will offer something better than we have. Nev had an ordinary game, but that was by his standards, and it is his only bad game in a long time. Sometime, on some ground, against some opponent Spencer in to allow Max some 'rest time' up forward - and how good was he around the ground with second efforts and forward marking - but probably not this week. JW did reasonably when rucking today, and somehow Roos managed to get Dawes into the ruck a little.
  8. 6. Gawnius maximus 5. Vince 4. Tyson 3. Kent 2. Watts 1. Hogan
  9. 3 byes in seven weeks - absolutely disgraceful. How are clubs supposed to develop players and rehabilitate coming back from injury in this amateurishly run competition......sorry I am being unfair to VAFA. Absolute rubbish that that AFL accepts this garbage as preparation for their Victorian based clubs.
  10. And we beat this mob!!
  11. Integrity Commission ? need to check Razor's betting account. Two gimmies to Sydney.
  12. I didn't see the game and haven't been to Casey this year, but regardless, in reference to this game, as far as I can tell both teams played on the same ground and one outplayed the other. Every team, even good ones, can have a bad day. Was this Casey's one?
  13. While not wanting to appear superstitious, I would too, because every time without fail that they have done so we have dominated for the following decade.
  14. Sure as hell hope it had a heavy performance based element to it. Does anyone know if these conditions exist in player contracts?
  15. I guess we can wonder all we want, but it is all interesting though useless speculation really. One could also speculate about Salem being injury free and euthyroid.
  16. I was about to say that I hope none of the MFC players watched, but then I thought, no, I hope they all did. It should make them all the more determined not to be sent down to play at what by all accounts is a shithole. So Garlett did nothing? The sulks?? Nev Jetta needs to take him aside and tell him a few home truths.
  17. Is that really one, 1, single goal for the game? How awful.
  18. Watching the Dogs game on AFL internet - great game but how annoying is that <noun for one who tosses> Derwayne? Makes it hard to listen to.
  19. Not able to watch - is it the ground, or maybe just a one off bad game as most teams have? Hulett done anything?
  20. Poor bugger will find it very difficult to hold a place on the list I imagine. Hasn't had a chance. Which, strangely, is when it is used for footy.
  21. Poor Eddie just doesn't have any sense of humor especially if it relates to the love child Bucks. ?
  22. And didn't they have a bye one one or two weeks ago?
  23. His will be a very important signature. I hope he is offered what is reasonable and fair, and that he repays the club's loyalty to him.
  24. Weideman not playing v Collingwood!? Not mentioned in injury report - seems a strange game to "rest" him from.
