Just a thought - I understand that the Elsternwick golf course is to be closed and used for "open space". It is right next to Elsternwick Park cnr Glenhuntly Road and Nepean Highway; close to Elsternwick station and also trams. Would that be worth at least exploring?

Cricket (and Grand Prix) clash with preseason. Sadly MFC don’t have many heavies (other perhaps than than Steven May presenting for preseason ?)
