I didn't mention anything about being appreciative. I have no doubt most would be appreciative. A tree grows stronger in a windy circumstance, because it needs to. But are you truly helping them become more resilient, or are you staking them in your methods. And flattering your ego? The point is to stand one step behind, as the safety net. Not to fight the fight for them. Be a support, & allow them to grow. Give them permission, but not pressure them, to grow.

The AFL & corporates run the risk of helping turn real social issues into shallow Political Correctness. Being seen to be image correct, instead of quietly walking the walk. No one should be brow beaten into accepting something under threat of shaming. People will accept change If they can see the reasoning & good in it. Maybe, but they need leadership & mature heads, like the Titanic needed more buoyancy. They are seriously in a sorry state, that only older heads can help. They're original leadership has failed that clubs build. They are turning over the list to refresh it, but again, they need more conservative maturity. Off field help around the club, & also onfield. They could use Dunn, & Wagner would be very helpful, although I don't like losing him. As well as picks to balance the equation. I think we could use Prestia, & Day's height & athleticism, to try to get him to be a forward/2nd ruck.
