  1. I'd like to see more of our boys back @ this once great club, ones that have experienced time @ other more successfull AFL clubs, Steven Tingay could be one.
  2. Yes but if the panel & board deecide against Sheeds, then who's your next preference?
  3. I hope that our new coach has been told of his successfull application to coach the DEES by now & is having some behind the scenes input into this weekends game structure on sunday. B)
  4. Well done Shane, your doing yourself & your family proud. Well deserved. B)
  5. Yes. If we keep giving extended contracts to players that are nearly done, out of just generosity, then we'll soon all be flying to surfers paradise every other w/end to see a game.
  6. What if the winner has been one taking the drugs?
  7. Robbo's nearly stuffed physically now , he's got one more good season in him. Give him 1 or let him go.
  8. To Doggy and the Bizz, thanks for the great memories & all the enjoyment of watching you guys play over the years. Well done to both of you, good luck for your futures.. :D
  9. I think the AFL are totally wrong in how they are going about this drugs issue. I agreed with their stance last year but it seems their not wanting to act when they have evidence of illicit drug taking. I agree with 3 strikes idea however I believe it should be public after the 2nd strike & a severe suspension of the players registration following the 3rd strike. C,mon AFL, stop burying your head in the sand.

Rod Ashman Joined: Nov 01, 2004 Posts: 784 Posted: Fri Mar 23, 2007 1:48 pm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We win either way if the Roos, Power or Lions overlook Kreuzer and he falls into our lap. It would be even sweeter if the Bombers were forced to take Kreuzer or Henderson just to address a weakness on their list and overlook a gun. Laycock and Hille are average after Cloke and Ackland broke even with them and Ryder should be polishing his ruck skills for four quarters in the twos. Laycock is a bust. Hampson was an astute choice by Hughes and it's amusing to read Bombers' fans saying we stuffed up by picking Jetta. The cards might not fall our way this year and we might miss out on a Kreuzer when there's usually a handfull of Jettas in every draft. If we finish second last on four points with the Roos or Lions winning the spoon we will have picks one and three. That would give us a better list of kids than Hawthorn who lack pacy runners and quality tall defenders. Carlton would rip the **** out of the competition in three years and succeed where the Saints have failed. _________________ **** it!
  11. I think your spot on 'CHAMP', But I haven't read where anyone has said he's a champ ready to go like Judd turned out to be, but in my mind is a top yearling needing good guidance before being a cup winner.
  12. ....i'm not sure,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it might be only a breath, of fresh air.

    2007 Draft

Yes that's right, their tanks have been rumbling along for a couple of years now, even to the point of deliberately undermining Pagan & sacking his leiutenant to aid poor onfield results whilst getting games into the kids @ the bullants & blues. Oh gee', sorry u seem so disturbed.

    2007 Draft

Is that right bobby, what if THEY picked Cotchin 1 & then Ebert or Palmer or some' 3 & trade P19 for a Warnock or someone?
  15. I think I can smell a dual coaching team comin' on.
  16. Yeah, it's his body. Great body, can anyone else see that or is it just me???

    2007 Draft

'sylvinator', It seems to me that your the one not getting it. Your right in what you say about us losing the priority pick but where you seem to be off the mark is you don't seem to realise how good carltons list really is & how much stronger they will become with this years draft. They're a powerfull list allready that are underdeveloped in game terms, they're going to be awesome & leave us in their dust come '09.

    2007 Draft

why do people keep saying that Bartram will be a back pocket, more likely to be a bode or some such. I think Bartram is definately a midfield type & a run with player, heir apparent to Mcdonald or godfrey, green or such.
  19. Sure Sure Sure Sure maybe the footygossgods are paying you back.

    2007 Draft

A quote from a blue forum, "I heard from a friend of mine who knows a Carlton board member very well (I will not name the board member) that we offered Judd $800,000 per year plus $500,000 in investments through companies controlled by the Carlton board. Very interesting, but he still said no. A shame." <_<
