  1. Yes & I believe he enjoyed our $15,000.00 sign-on fee as well.
  2. Whilst I don't really know for sure, I would like to cut Bodan some slack. It would not have been his Idea for the players to all lose weight to gain 'bigger engines' & more speed. We know from Paul Gardner himself that the football staff decided to 'go all out running' this year which in itself resulted in Bodan's appointment & his brief therefore was to build both extra stamina & speed into the players both @ the same time. Building extra speed & sprint training results in more highly tuned leg muscles which of course are likely to break down, like any ultra light high performance vehicle. You trade some reliability for added speed. The ostioitus problems are a common ill thru the league, i don't think we can blame bodan for that, especially where some players have carried the complaint for some years, (sylvia).
  3. GREAT PLAYER, one of the best ever. But not for our kicking. AS a motivational speaker yes please, Next Year though.

  5. He needs more than a foot op'. He needs a transplant.
  6. You should be called Stevie Wonder, bruce is crap & is only ok as a run with player on your hirds & buckleys, you know the older ones.
  7. They're not, he's learning to manage it better & doing better recovery on a weekly basis. He's been playing much better this hole season probably due to his continuity & acceptance of 'nothings perfect'. He's looked to me like he's taped up tight & starting to adjust.
  8. Well done Rev', played a straight bat. One things for sure, you are a gentleman. Good luck.
  9. Who do you really favour Rhino?
  10. If we were playing for a popularity contest premiership flag, Neil Daniher & his Deeciples would be taking the flag home year after year. It would be a no contest. Would a 'Barassi' be so grieved over, or Matthews, Blight, Worsfold, Norm Smith, Kennedy, Jeans, Parkin, Malthouse, Pagan? All premiership coaches, why are they not so warmly loved as Neale Daniher?
  11. Love the Guy. But not as coach for our future, his time was up.
  12. My preferences, 1/ L Matthews 2/ K Sheedy 3/ M Voss 4/ B Ratten 5/ D Pagan
  13. Don't forget people, there is a silver lining for every dark cloud that hangs above us. 2007 is not our year, so what, it never was going to be with so many young & inexperienced key players to our engine room. '08 was allways a most likelier year as long as we could get more games & experience into players like Mclean, Sylvia, Jones, Bate, Dunn, Pettard, Davey, Bell, Jamar & PJ. Well guess whats happening, their growing & accepting some leadership as welll. Our injury list has helped us more towards our next GF appearance than anything else. Play the kids & forget about ego & '07 ladder position, build our future now!
  14. Bring on the new Dawn. McLeanise our future now & get out the broom.
  15. I'll raise you! Two bruces, a green & a white For a fit 'n' healthy Judd.
  16. The 'Moose' McGuire 'reckons millsy should play @ half back.
  17. The other way around mate, if they can play like that then ask yourself why have'nt they. It's no use having players who can play, but don't put in. WHY? If they don't keep up this higher standard to which they're capable, then they should go & we'll find others who'll put in for the club.
  18. He's finally stepped up to the plate & delivered. Where have you been all this time Brad. Don't go hiding again after this, the fans now know what standard you can deliver at & should expect nor tolerate anything less from you.
  19. I'd luv to see the boy from Byron wipe out Wayne Carey down around ol' richmond town
  20. Don't you think that says a lot.
  21. G'day John, it's great to hear of you, I was an onfield participent with you throughout your time there. I hope things are going well for you & your family????????.
  22. I wasn't feeling well, with the dreaded lurgie thats gettin' about, so I wasn't feeling really social & prefer not to spread it where our players may inadvertantly be exposed.
  23. I think I saw you there 'WJ', who were the demonlanders you were with. Matthew Warnock - he's athletic & can kick nicely. He took time to develope at sandy & no doubt he'll take a little time to do the same in the AFL, as expected. Stefan Martin I've now seen play 2 or 3 times & he can kick better than he looked yesterday, that kick from directly below me was tightish in the pocket with that strong wind blowing strongly across him would be enough to give any young 6'-8" beanpole the yips...
