Adam Cerra wanted to come to the Dee's. His manager decided a trade couldn't be done by the Dee's without the available draft pick... Doesn't matter how much he gets offered by either WC or Freo. How do they get the trade collateral to make it happen - would be 2 top 5 draft picks and solid B+/a grader at the trade table.... surely his Manager tells him stay at the Dee's until FA - wherever he might end up the price to pay would cripple the club he goes too (and both WA options are pretty crape anyway ATM) it's not like he won't get paid well regardless. Then supermax contract at FA -

About time too.... I mean this bloke has 9 whole AFL games to his name. AND he only had 1 rising star nomination,never lost a game and has a premiership to his name.... Liike seriously at what point is he going to get some success....

On merit we're a 6 goal+ better team... My MFCSS unfortunately still runs deep - this feels like a danger game. If we bring the sam intensity as the GC game - lookout game on and... who knows These [censored] seem to get the better of us... maybe I'm still scarred from Hird pulling 2 out of his butt in the last minute to beat us in 99 (or 2000 or around then anyway) but I hate them with a passion and would rather be weary of them than overconfident and only bring 70% effort

Yep home ground advantage in the finals. Would much rather play Adelaide in Melbourne at either Casey or Marvel than at Adelaide Oval if we have to play them - would only be the GF against them

No Zanker hurts. Damn good thing we recruited Liv Purcell and she's coming good from the ACL to minimise this. We need a solid win here for shot at top spot and for the saints to take it right up to Adelaide (knocking them off wod be even handier)

No issues at all if all the 'Melbourne teams' come together under one giant roof. Dee's Storm Victory Rebels Makes complete sense as some facilities will only be used in short bursts and can be well and truly shared - think medical/rehab/gym/pool/meeting rooms/chill out zone's... Cross team IP and culture benefits galore. If it's set up right it could be golden

How bloody awesome was that. As a 46 y.o rusted on Demon... the show was a recounting of my life. Was at western oval as a 12 y.o. in 87' and then at all the finals, there for 88, there through the yoyo 90s. The merger game. The 2000 run. The [censored] years and the guys who died way way too young. Was at Optus oval - took the 8 year old son - so glad he doesn't understand the [censored] we've had on our plate for so long. Enjoy the success now and fingers crossed for the year ahead

I'd like for the saints to pinch one... however not this year. This is ours again. I'd also like to see the $uns get one before GW$. Theres been far too much arrogance from that western Sydney team for the last few years despite their newness and lack of clout and lack of supporters ... I also hate the Sun's the least out of any other club

Well the good news is there won't be any more premiership bathwater being drunk by the boys. Rnd 1 in 2 weeks against the mob with the most to play for against us and in rnd 1! Time for shizz to get real. Oh and the tickertape parade on Lygon St for the February Flyers premiership will start at 9.30 in th morning

Whatever has happened to Tayla this year by coming home to the Dee's has been a master-stroke. A bit of maturity perhaps, maybe Daisy's influence, maybe a stronger culture around her... whatever changed has been fantastic. Cracker of a grab tonight and just a massive presence for the girls to walk taller. 👌 She never played this well at Carlscum.

Here's a random one... the Dee's have never lost a game while I have been in WA.... Year 2000 was in WA last round of H&A (WCE in Perth - Bluey McKennas final game) through to the prelim... I flew back to Melbourne for the Gf!!! 2021 was in WA from the final H&A game and Flew from Broome to Perth for the GF (watched the Prelim in Derby after doing the Gibb River Road)
