  1. Unfortunately had to work living in Queensland and all. Just finished watching on replay. Nowhere near enough love for B Vince anywhere.... Laziest 42 [censored] possessions you will ever see! Yes Gawn had 24 and kicked 3 etc. Lots of other good games. Bernie had Forty [censored] two touches! And will join Diesel Williams as a minor bronlow vote getter whilst gathering 40+! Bloke was immense
  2. Aah Queensland..... will be at work till 6. #Stupidfrickennopublicholidayhere... Then again probably won't be complaining in October or whenever it is that Queen's B'day is celebrated here. Will have it on the waiting room TV (and maybe projector screen in staff room as well!) Hi Ho Hi Ho off to work I go. Go Dee's
  3. Makes you wonder if 'reporting' should just get stripped off the match day umps and just be left to the MRP. Bernie gets overturned and Cellar goes for a behind the play one on Hogan when none of the officiating guys saw it.
  4. Yep like it CB - something that actually resembles a well rounded side - who knew it was possible
  5. Love the look of the jumper in action
  6. Need a Gibson and a Hodge for the backline - Hurley would be that guy.... dreams... Could Melksham become a Hodge, I doubt it - But Trengove could! Trengove marshalling the back 6 in Hodge style quarterback role. Yep that'll work. Still need a Hurley though. Might get one might not. The big frame of Hulett -any Casey watchers think he could be a CHB type instead of a raw KPF?
  7. All the hallmarks of a danger game here. Raging favourite, 'weak' opposition who have copped a pasteing in the media and selection table, playing away from their warm home in the cold MCG. Unfortunately we're not good enough to go in half arsed and win by 10 goals as the Hawthorns and Geelongs have done to us over the last decade. Thankfully the boys learnt that lesson against the Bombers already - we hope! Treat them lightly and not bring our A game we might be in trouble. Bring our A game and hunt the ball as we have been and we win... well
  8. Hated and 'punchable head' aren't necessarily the same. Not necessarily exclusive of each other either. As mentioned Daniher has a very punch able head, but do I hate him no. Boomer - punchable yes, hate him yes. Reiwoldt of the Nick variety punch able head not really - hatred absolutely. Brings us back the quandary of the title - do I actually advocate violence? no, do some people have a punchable head? yes. Hmm
  9. http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=25&pid1=3919&fid1=S&playerStatus2=A&tid2=12&pid2=3641&fid2=S&type=A Direct comparison J Kelly and D Tyson - this year's stats only. They're pretty much on par - Kelly has a couple of extra uncontested posses and kicks more than he handballs. Dom Handballs more (at the bottom of every pack!)- has a better efficiency as well. I'd rather the hard in and under bloke. Plus we got Salem too. Salem is a bit down at present - no biggy he will be just fine long term. Morons Luke Barrett think we offloaded Kelly to get Salem .... but somehow forget about a bloke he never saw play. With our list then and even now Tyson is a bigger cog in the wheel.
  10. Mentioned this a week or so back and thought about a couple of weeks back. Becoming a KPD is his only chance at staying in the game - at least at our club. He has the size, tank, is rarely beaten in a contest - doesn't clunk them much but neither do his opponents. Give him a run there at Casey while returning to fitness, he will need a big mindset change but should be able adapt to it. It has merit and should be done - if nothing else will give a bloke who has busted his nut while we were shyte an opportunity to continue in a better side. He won't be as bad as Fitzy!
  11. No idea what actually went down, however a photo of him him popped up on facebook in hospital after the game when went out with 'soreness' the following week. IIRC he had the full emergency department kit going on - ECG monitor etc. As an early guess might've have a busted/bruised ribs +/- lung injury, or a back injury which would explain the absence but not the quiet treatment from the club. Pure speculation/Crazy brain ticking over here thinks possibly an undisclosed/undiagnosed medical condition might have popped up. The club possibly should get on the front foot and let people know what's going on, or perhaps not as well - he will be back when he's right.
  12. Just read this http://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/melbourne-fc-training-forces-cranbourne-eagles-off-casey-fields-oval/news-story/d25634ed5f26b9719077f7c5dfa884ab Dee's training next week is causing a Breast cancer fundraising game for Cranbourne footy club to be shifted this weekend.. no lights therefore night time and the function is off. this is crap - just fucken fix it Dee's!
  13. What about a bloke we already have on the list - tallish big strong body, runs all day premiership CHF... C Dawes. If the Weed comes on, Dawes only hope would be to retrain his mindset and become a gorilla minder - should his body hold up
  14. Sitting at the observation deck of Q1 after demolishing brekky, cracker of a day, the casino god's were very kind last night, not only did we walkout handsome winners but the giant bearded lumberjack was having a quite punts there as well. Signs are good for the weekend festivities
  15. Hopefully the reason Frost is out is to actually learn to play his role first - whether it be forward or back and just play it well prior to returning. Instead of just being reliant on his athletic attributes. Then he can come back and play on the 2 mete Peter types. Dunn out - he's done (pun deliberate) stop gap at best for the kids or if we can nail a Hurley type. Garland for mine isn't up to it either - don't understand the 3 year deal he got last year, however he plays the mid size guys OK - driven myth about tall/short - he doesn't do either well - he takes the 3rd tall or mid size only. We have blokes coming in in form with attributes of speed or hardness at the ball (stretch, mich, ollie) - happy playing shorter if it means they're generally better.
  16. Anyone know if there's a Friday 'training'/loosener session at the ground?
  17. Needed an actual rest. Still needs to build his tank. First preseason, nab cup 4 rounds in big league. Just a puppy. Only playing 60% game time Happy to see him play 4-6 games at Casey to build his tank barring injury to other mids
  18. [censored] it....... the lid is officially off! The boys are talking finals and.... PEETTTRRRRAAAAAACCCCCCCAAAAAAAAA!!! ...and back in my box I go
  19. Gee wizz ... we're pulling out the cannons to announce Traccs in for his first game (or possibly just cos it's Anzac day game and stuff) ...but I'll go with the big announcement instead!
  20. I'm getting very aroused by the thought of Tracc playing..... in a man love kinda way (possibly multiple other ways as well!) Sunday is a really bloody long way away when your finally looking forward to the Dees playing again!
  21. Really doubt Garrett will come in - read this morning that Mission said its a high ankle sprain - they typically take longer, even mild ones just take a long time to go from 70/80% to 100%. My take is probably closer to another 2 or 3 weeks from if he's close So for me that leaves it as Bernie comes in for Hunt (stiff! But only got game time as Bern was suspended). And then the question of Tracc or no Tracc. If he comes in u think it will be at the expense of one of the others on 65% game time -Oliver, Brayshaw and Kennedy. Kennedy ain't going out so it's Ollie for a rest (read management of first year in big league)or Gus as he still hasn't got full fitness back
  22. What if the voice call of touched was a player.... as a defender you should assume the voice was anyone's and play it through until a whistle has actually sounded. If our players Sheppard it through instead of punch it through then they are just dumb footballers
  23. Far out.. hard to fit them all in. Good problem to have, be an absolute [censored] to do selections for the next few weeks at present
