If Majak can prove his fitness both mentally and physically - it's a yes from me. There are 42 odd blokes on a list - he won't be the worst on the list and might just prove a good back up option when needed. If nothing else the blow up from the negative nancies on here would well worth the price of admission ???

I’d happily experiment with him as a tall wingman a la what Richmond regularly did with Richo. Big blokes with elite endurance levels running up and down the wing make a fantastic switch option. yes his field kicking is sometimes questionable but gee wiz it should open up channels into the forward line if he keeps his width on the ground.

Genuinely can’t wait for the growth that will now come from Weid. Jackson will grow and Jackson things anyway. But for Weid - being able to be the 2nd guy will release the shackles and more importantly has a gun to learn his craft from. We haven’t had a genuine full fwd as a senior player for a long time. The little nuances he will pick up from Brown will seriously elevate his game

Reckon you may just be right Pickett. Although I do like him running and linking from half back, and continuing along. He's not an 'out here' guy like Langdon, who is able to hold position in space.

Realistically Nev needs to transition into a coaching role over the next 2 years. Body looks basically shot. Playing coach in The 2s with the occasional call up as needed should be his role with a view to full time coaching/player welfare after. love for that to be with us. Perhaps he also needs to see inside another club (ie like the hawks shipping off hodge/Lewis and Sammy to get that precoaching experience outside of glenferrie oval) to make the most of his playing career

At his best he is very good. But spends far too much time being invisible. weid Jacko picket fritta melky avb petracca (brown if we end up with him) all in front of him in the forward line pecking order. Then there’s hunt and spargo not too far behind him. if there is value in the trade then yep let him go
