Personally I think both are about right Chandler pinned the arms and tackled him head first into the ground. Crazy dangerous despite a lack of intent. By pinning the arms he has a duty of care to make sure the opponents head doesn't whack into the ground. Imagine the uproar here if it was the other way around and our bloke got ko'd or your son - would not be happy one bit. Liam Ryan only takes 1-2 steps into the bump. It was certainly an intentional bump with bowzas head down. However ther really isn't much force in it and bowey isn't injured. Clumsy bumps happen regularly - he's lucky that he didn't generate more force into the bump and didn't connect. End result is a high contact low force knock - 1-2 weeks for mine - he got the lower end. I'm strangely OK with it

If there was ever a soft debut slot for him it’s this week I say get him in. If as everyone says once he’s in it’s going to be hard to get him back out - that’s beautiful - all for making our team better not a fan of this let him ‘develop’in the 2s. he’s physically ready, playing well. Should be playing in the top tier to develop against proper backmen no point in waiting for a slot that may not appear… Jakovich had to kick 60 something goals in 8 weeks as we had Darren Bennett going well at senior level… we were immediately better with him in. No point in a physically ready gun in waiting to be playing 2s its very different to throwing jack watts to wolves on QBD

Listening to the audio snippets - it sounds to me like Bucks is trying to diffuse the situation and is no way in the wrong. Harry certainly had the right to be upset with Eddie over the King Kong gaffe and everything else. So it seems like Bucks was attempting to diffuse the situation and protect the club a bit - probably the right thing to do as opposed to throwing the baby out with the bathwater which is what Harry seems to think should have happened A messy situation they have themselves in.

As strange as it sounds I miss getting emotional at footy games... it's kinda boring just winning. Comfortably. Dont get me wrong - I hate losing more than anything else. I miss the CONTEST at present. Yes the Hawks took it up to us - but we weren't close to full strength and it never felt in danger despite them closing late. Can't wait for the saints, Sydney, Brisbane and freo games to hopefully witness a contest

Grew up in the 80s. Played all my junior footy in the Hawthorn district junior football league. Played countless games at glenferrie oval for interleague games.. under 15s and 17s there with some very well known names around the league ( not getting named here though) before the juniorpathway was disbanded. Absolutely HATE this mob with a [censored] passion. They used to bury our noses in it. Time to repay the debt. Kill those [censored] Hawks... OK I feel better now
