for years clubs... especially whorethorn have seen us as a soft entry to return pleyrs from injury earlier than otherwise. looks like the rables have turned. Can get Wags in a week early due to the lack of contested ball from the Hawks. i like it.... a lot. Hope we smash the absolute [censored] out of them in the contest and give them the complete physical and scoreboard nightmare they deserve there i've said it and feel better for it to!

just noticed china southern on the collar on adelaide coach collars...we have IG on our coach collars. china southern came on board as a sponsor a couple years ago - have we shafted them? or are they diversifying their sponsorships. have we missed the opportunity to upgrade them to a jumper?

in all honesty they were cooked following the 5 day break from the wet anzac game. we looked cooked following the 5 1/2 day break from our wet anzac game. we weren't quite as cooked as them in the 2nd half. take the points say thank you forget the game in its entirety as it was compltere rubbish. get our [censored] together and pump the hawks next week

i think i heard last night that Eddie McChins had suggested for the 5 day breaks coming up that it is shared between 4 clubs involved ie we play esd or pies on the short break - makes it a pretty fair 5 day break between the clubs. Don't agree with him much, but i think he nailed it here

What i don't get is if this is the answer to avoid a tv clash, and the history of not playing on good Friday was mainly due the chanel 7 children's hospital appeal, why haven't they just played it and televise on 7mate. It boggles me - especially given the appeal is a victorian thing only. Theres a hell of a lot of Australia that ain't in Victoria (although growing up and living in Melbs until i was 25 never quite got that the Childrens hospital appeal is only in Vic... not until you get out that you realise no one else in the country is actually aware of it at all!!)

Really I really find it funny - and not in the good way - when the demon supporters have a go at 'whatever it takes' given it was one of Jimmy's go to lines - hell it was even the title of his book. He got it from the sign that used to hang over the doorway to exit into the race to enter the G from our old change rooms. Fairly obviously the Bombers copied this from us to use as their unfortunate tagline a couple of years back.

I'm 19 at the time driving my piece of crap '76 corolla and decide i've got nothing better to do. So i speed up to see if i can catch him - the Corolla gets to 130 (4 speed 4 cylinder.... old piece of '[censored]' - still amazed that it got to tgat speed) and promptly overheats and loses all power - stuck in the middle lane of the south eastern near waverley for 30 mins can' get out to push due to cars zooming past on either side. Finally it starts again, got it home and had about another year of awesome adventures out of the car (yep had to replace the head gasket after that - was the beginning of the end fir the car!) Before paying $50 for the wrecker to come and collect it - yep that bad the wrecker couldn't get anything out of it. And never saw Jako in his car or the awesome Jako13 number plates again. I've come to the conclusion that the players and coaches have a behind the scenes competition where they either pull a name out of the hat or have a calcutta type thing where the winner is decided by article/forum posts about or mentioning said player. Goodwin has backed Watts in massively and wants a sportsbet type payout prior to round 4. And therefore start again to win again by seasons end. Plus it would raise cash for end of season trips........ The whole group are in on it obviously and just p*ssing themselves behind closed doors

The club has a plan for something- possibly jack has something to work on behind closed doors, possibly it is his thumb and they don't want it out there. Possibly they know what he is capable of and are still looking at variations. Or he was late to Sunday night Roast and the Cicken was burnt. Regardless would expect him to play the last game and line up in round 1

Got me thinking - conventional thinking has Watts returning, probably Pederson as well and Spencer goes out with young Weed to allow the mature body shapes in and have Pedders snd Watts do the chop out ruck. I'm now thinking after the weekend its only Watts for Weed. Spencer stays if his form stays and it works with Maxy 'resting' forward (hardly a rest but then again he rucks a whole game anyway) when Spencer is on. We are then a reliant on the mid sized Petracca, vanders and Brayshaw types to clunk a few as well - doesn't seem to be an issue atm though Just watching on tv i think the Weed needs to get hungry, just seems not quite ready to own a patch of the 50. More bulk more aggression and more hunger and he'll get there and dominate. However the brains trust end up working the wonderful dilemma of fitting blokes in is going to be interesting to say the least. Going to be some very good footballers playing VFL this year. harsh man there skuit debuted in 97! Averaged 11 in his debut year. Gathered 19 in the GF that year... was a good snippet of what followed Ave 14 in his 2nd year, however won his 2nd premiership in tbat year too! Backwards a little 3rd year (12 touches) but heck so did the crows - finished with us near the bottom that year - they weren't good at all then. From then on averaged about 20+

Really Dazzle ... you had no idea about him!! I am absolutely gobsmacked by this. He was (and is) one of the all time greats of the league. Super player from the minute he joined the big league. We are absolutely blessed to have him on board. Not only talented but worked his bum off to get there as well! He was mentored to the minute by Ricciuto in his early days. Deadset Gun.
