  1. Cannot believe the posters saying we’re in this....... especially at times when we are in front! WTF tidy up some goal kicking and fwd 50 entries and we are 5 goals up. Not in the bag yet but sheesh we are killing it over there
  2. They’re at least one if not 2 rotations down and if hickey gets back on it’s there 2nd ruckman - we are going to run all over them coming home
  3. have just cracked a single malt in preparation of drunk deep depression or over the top exuberant celebration...... there is no in between!
  4. Serious danger game..... should win comfortably.... either we lose by 10 or win by ? not even game to predict which one!
  5. I think I just choked on my cornflakes..... that in a nutshell IS their jobs Chookrat. i think you missed my sarcasm. In the real world - the person in charge of anything medically related is under the direction of the most senior person, that person has the highest insurance cover and is the one who gets sued if anything goes pearshaped. in AFL worlds this has become a very grey area and people are making calls that they aren't necessarily the ones to
  6. I have been wondering for a few years now - why is it that sports/conditiong coaches outrank the Sports Physicians and Physiotherapists at lots of AFL clubs...... who makes the game day decisions about ok or not to play on an injury? the lines have never been so blurred
  7. get ball kick goals plan b - they get ball stop them from kicking goal then revert to plan A
  8. [censored] the maggots love these swans
  9. Given our preseason surgeries and injuries I for one haven’t been expecting early season wins. Hoping but not expecting to be 2 and 1 now. Was thinking our season wasn’t really going to get started until rd 4 so jagging an early win or 2 would have been good. Still expect us to win at least 12 from here
  10. Sitting in Sydney Airport... waiting for my flight home to North Queensland.... it’s a Friday night - really didn’t put 2 and 2 together- who’da think we’d be playing on a Friday..... never even thought it was an option ?
  11. [censored] I hate having to play in Geelong. has been an ongoing thing that all footballing ability disappears somewhere approximately halfway down the [censored] Geelong highway.
  12. poor bloke. only wish good things for Dunny
  13. Roumd 1 comes around a lot faster following a deep run into September! preseason was a blink of an eye
  14. other than the snow running. I'm really not seeing any value at all in the os trip. there is nothing in the rehab ex's posted that is either special or not exceptionally well covered by Australian physios and exercise physiologists. got me stuffed why spend all that cash when it all can be done locally.
  15. would love a night GF. the lights/fireworks/entertainment would be absolutely amazing. would be the spectacle that it should be. conversely would [censored] hate a twilight game... just stupid. that doesn't butter up for a night game it just [censored] everyone over. if they want a night game just do it and everyone will enjoy it.
  16. Mitch Hannan vs Jay Kennedy-Harris Corey Wagner vs Austin Bradtke James Jordon vs Kade Chandler Toby Bedford vs Aaron Nietschke Charlie Spargo vs Declan Keilty
  17. Corey Maynard vs Joel Smith Bayley Fritsch vs Oskar Baker Josh Wagner vs Harrison Petty Tom Sparrow vs Marty Hore vs Guy Walker
  18. not footy related.... but the GOAT wins the 10 year challenge
  19. Crossy is a pro. Rd 8-10 is a number plucked from thin air - if he returns by rd 5 it means they're geniuses. if he says rd 1 but it blows out to round 6 - obviously theres issues..... it's a blatant under promise and over deliver stand point
  20. could be wrong but it looks like Garry Lyon
  21. You forgot Peter Daicos as well. the Macedonian Marvel Robbie, God and Daics got me to many games in the 80s (oh and that hawthorn outfit with Dermie dipper chief lethal rat etc.) loved being a neutral at Collingwood Carlton games back then - like Robbie time stood still when Daicos got the ball
  22. Depends on the break - a spiral fracture of a long leg bone takes 6 weeks to join together - double it for 'consolidation' or getting bone strength back. A transverse fracture - straight across - doubles the time frame. 12 weeks to join hence 24 weeks to get strong. so six months prior to getting up to reasonable training - how long to get 'AFL level' fit from there? probably better from a long term point of view to wrap the season up and hit pre season next year fully fit
