  1. If we were to go Weideman with our first pick, assuming Parish is gone by pick 7, i'd be hoping that Oliver was still there. Would rather Oliver over Mathieson, as he appears to be so much more damaging and explosive.
  2. Ok, i get that you seem to be a fan, but it's clearly reaching is we were to select middymalt @ 3. I have him going mid-late teens.
  3. The thing that kept coming out during JT's interview was that we will pick based on best available. Now how the recruiting team interprets that i haven't the slightest. I take it to mean the best player (funny that). If that's the case, i would of thought that Parish will be chosen at 3 with pick 7 coming from the likes of Curnow, Weideman, Francis, possibly even Oliver, but not McKay.
  4. yes the MFC gets 'first rights' should he not get picked up this draft year, and if he elects to nominate for f/s bidding next year.
  5. The only reason he was cut was because both of Jones and Terlich had a year to run on their contracts. Hopefully he'll be back on the senior list soon, better than ever. Get Nev Jetta into his ear.
  6. I was the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll. I also happen to be the Lindbergh baby.
  7. The problem that most supporters have with Jack Watts is that he has never played a 'great' game of football in his entire career. His best efforts would be considered 'good' at best. He still has a role to play, for sure, as his disposal and decision-making is still up near the best at the club.
  8. If i recall, Nick Rippon was the bloke many on demonland wanted to recruit from St. Pats back in 2012. He won the VFL B&F this year and might be worthwhile having a look at.
  9. I'm pretty sure JM said in an mfc.com.au article that we were unlikely to add any DFA this year.
  10. It's like a broken clock being right twice a day. Although said broken clock has a strike rate of 8%, which would be leaps and bounds ahead of Twomey.
  11. I don't know why many are up in arms about the fixture. When we have had softer draws, we have still only been able to finish the season with limited wins.
  12. Agree, a lot of the time JKH has gotten the ball, he's way too far up the ground. Garlett for the most part this year was entrenched in the froward line.
  13. Who was the imbecile that gave Terlich a 3-year deal? Extremely poor foresight.
  14. You must have written such opinions under a different name, given that your current account has been active since December 2013. Toumpas was drafted in November 2012 (13 months before you signed up in your current form).
  15. Plus he's tough, plays like a bull and built like the proverbial brick shithouse.
  16. is quicker and a better decision maker and disposer of the ball too
  17. Weideman plays for Eastern Ranges, so we would have seen a fair bit of him last year too, whilst we were following Petracca.
  18. Well if he does go, they'll need to give up something decent for him. That Howe bloke looks alright!
  19. He reminds me of Ben Rutten, with his build, yet seems a bit more athletic.
  20. he reminds me of a quicker, yet poorer version of Brock McLean
  21. he started his coming of age in the GF againt the Filth in 2011. That makes it at the end of his 5th AFL year. He was also a big body right from the start.
  22. Whilst Weitering is the raging #1 favourite, if the Blues were to pick Schache at 1, they would be able to pick up Keiran Collins at either pick 8 or 11. So could be a possibility.
  23. Mids available apart from Academy selections.......probably not. Though picks 1 & 2 are universally believed to be Weitering then Schache. But there's not a chance in hell either 2 will be available.
