The Lions, Swans and even West Coast to a degree have the same problem, in that there isn't really a distinct location that is "theirs". If the Swans have the SCG, then we have the MCG. We were forged by the MCG, or MCC more precisely. I would've thought the MCC or Yarra Park is where our celebration's would be located (should they ever come)

School holidays ManDee........... -
Assuming Hogan stays, i'd say our biggest priorities are another quality KPD & another solid back-up ruckman for Max

Wiz has also stated on a couple of occasions that he would rather see his boys line up for Melbourne too, so there's always hope!

If he stays, we have a very good CHF on our hands. If he goes, we'll get very good compensation for him (first rounder this year & next year imo) - if we draft right, we'll still have our hands on some quality kids to replace him. Either way, the sun will rise the day after he makes his decision. One man doesn't make a team (he'd sure help it if he stayed), and it takes 22 committed players' to become premiers. -

And by that numbskull John Ralph. The bloke makes Mark Robinson look like Shakespeare. -
Yep, chose to leave the ground and his shoulder made contact with Picken's head. What does he do.............stays down on the ground feigning injury so as to either not give away a free kick, or was scared he may be remonstrated against. SOFT.

Have you looked at the kids selected from pick 30 onwards (would've been our pick in last years draft, instead of Melksham). I'm happy with Melksham, as opposed to whoever else would've been available at that pick. -
He's also the lead writer for the Herald Sun ... his editor surely must be batting on a very good wicket!

I don't know............the year Yze_Magic had all of bigfooty believing he was getting drafted was a good way to spend the off-season!

Yep, gotta agree with you Redleg. The last 2 rounds (when we were still a chance of making finals) left a very bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully it has done the same with the playing group. The last 2 rounds were simply unacceptable.

Yep, we'll need to look at Weideman as our first round pick from this year (just with an extra season under his belt, so better for us development-wise). Currently our first pick would've been at pick 8. I'm more than happy that we have Weideman on our list, because this year's draft is not meant to be anything too special.
