  1. I think mo is looking for reliable support. I'd have Dawes in that spot just as much as the one's you have listed.
  2. As the KPF to help support Hogan, he would be the one i'd bring in. However, Injuries are a concern. As you've pointed out he has been hit by a fair few of them. It also makes him more of a speculative pick. I would've looked to have gained another pick inside the top 10 (easier said than done - i know), so we could have picked up both Curnow and Weideman, as opposed to trying to go all in to get GCS pick 3 for Parish (who i am very lukewarm on).
  3. I love how Roos stated that we'll be aggressive in the trade period, yet 9 days down with only 2 to go (more like 1.5), we've brought in Melksham and Kennedy. We also seem to be sitting back waiting for other things to transpire before we engage trading again. Very aggressive indeed!!!
  4. Curnow is only 191cm. Not KPP height, plus he will be probably transitioned into a big bodied-midfielder.
  5. Can you blame Mahoney & Co after the way he and his manager treated us with such contempt?
  6. With bringing in the likes of Melksham, Kennedy and probably Bugg, including having Petracca and Trengove back in the picture, would anyone be upset if we reached for Weideman come draft time? Clearly Weitering and Schache will be gone, Parish probably too come our first pick. The last time we reached for a KPF was Cook, do we dare reach again?
  7. Apart from pick 8, the next pick gws have is pick 27. Not much point in doing that
  8. And yet we still have the likes of Spencer, Jones and Terlich on our list
  9. I have no gripes with Toump, he wasn't a lazy pr!ck demanding way too much cash then turning around and screwing us over with the GC deal. Howe on the other hand....................i wouldn't bat an eye-lid if he fell off the face of the Earth.
  10. Careful Bing, you being way too logical for a place like this
  11. We must be really after Bugg @ 50 and upgrading to get Parish @ 3 if we accepted the trades we have done so far.
  12. When considering points value, that's only if you assume you trade such picks later on. If we are left with picks 29 + 50 come draft time (even though same points value as pick 20), they are ages behind pick 20.
  13. We traded Toumpas + Howe for Kennedy + 29 + 50 Some might not agree but Toumpas = Kennedy (both have not been as successful as first hoped). Neither a good/bad deal for us so break-even. That leaves Howe for 29 + 50. We come out behind on that trade. But as Mahoney alluded to...... “By packaging up the Howe and Toumpas trades, it has allowed us to get the best overall net outcome for the club. It also gives us the picks needed to facilitate further trades before Thursday’s trade deadline.” maybe we can get Bugg for pick 46 + 50 (lol). It all but rules us out of trying to get an additional first round pick.
  14. If we were to end up with 2 top 10 picks come draft time, we simply must take Weideman with one of them. Hogan needs another decent KPF for support.
  15. I'd rather bring in Weideman and Curnow with picks 6&8, than Parish with pick 3.
  16. Why do we seem to be so red-hot for Parish? Anyone?
  17. Probably more likely to get Curnow and Weideman. Francis probably gone by our first pick.
  18. Jay Clark, lol. Bodes well for us i guess!
  19. If we are able to bring in pick 8 somehow through trades, we could use picks 6 & 8 in the draft on Curnow and Weideman respectively. Also including trading in players such as Melksham, Bugg and Kennedy would see it as a decent trade period for us (8 & Bugg for the most part).
  20. Yes remember it very well, it was Saturday night, not as well as i remember us drafting Cook at 12 in the 2010 draft when Darling was still on the board (or anyone else for that matter).
  21. When was the last time the filth gave up anything of worth in a trade that went on to be a success? If Kennedy is not involved as part of the Howe deal (nor should he be), we should just give the bird to the Pies and tell Howe it's going to be GC or the draft. GC was looking good to Howe a week ago, why is it unappealing all of a sudden?? FIGJAM and McChins can GAGF, Howe too for that matter given the way he and his manager have tried to play us, but before he does he can get us something decent in return.
