To be fair, if we still had Prendergast as recruiting manager, i'd prefer we went the method of picking based on highlights. However, Taylor and his team seem to have some idea when it comes to identifying talent. I'll be happy with whoever they pick up, given they're the one's who have been looking at these kids for a good 2-3 years now.

Even though it's only highlights that i'm basing it on, if all of the main contenders are gone, Clayton Oliver would be a very nice acquisition indeed. The kids a bull!

If we picked Curnow at 3, Parish would be almost certainly snapped up @ 4 or 5, the Druggies might also be inclined to take Francis. Curnow + Weideman would be a good draft result. Curnow + Francis would be a good result, Parish + Curnow would be a good result, Parish + Francis, would be a good result, Weideman +......................you get the drift. There is no wrong combination imo. Those who will start to worry about making the wrong choice again, take a chill pill. I'd rather we have the balls to take a chance again than let doubt take hold of us (seriously, step up). I'll back Taylor to the hilt with who he picks, it seems to have gone pretty well so far. When in doubt just select who Hogan wants, so he can quickly sign on for a long-term deal. If that is the catalyst, then we have already won.

Seriously Mathieson? He reminds me of a poorer, although slightly quicker version of Brock McLean. Maybe if he is there at pick 46. He is not a top 10 pick, nor what we need. But hey, like that you have a differing view than most of us.

It does seem that Parish is the consensus pick 3. If one of Curnow, Francis or Weideman were available at pick 7, it's a win no matter how you look at it.
