Farewell Jesse Hogan
GC would want a bit more imo

Put a dollar 5 metres in front oh him and watch him fly.

2018 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
If going by Twomey's draft predictor we had 2 mid-late 20's picks, bring in both O'Halloran and Duursma would be a good evening. Both have good pace with O'Halloran more a mid and Duursma more a flanker/wingman.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Agreed rpfc. If Hogan stays, 2019 will be a circus for an entire year on his contract situation. Given we are clearly in a situation now where we have bigger aims to worry about, it would be a huge distraction that we most definitely could do without. If he stays, i'd want him to sign a contract extension sometime in the off-season (preferably before the new year).

offensively he is decent, defensively he is clueless.

Got the location wrong, but the team right. It wasn't against the Lions as implied by ETG.

That huge torp was against Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval.

Would we take $cully back?
Yeah, it is a rubbish dump!

Duursma won't go that high. In the 10-20 range methinks.

A Day at the Races
Hey Macca, do you think Winx will be retired after this years Cox Plate?

The problem is one is in the 22-25 range, the other is out near the 30's.

Didn't know you could get internet reception from the sewer.

That's a bit more sensible. Bring in May and KK and go to the draft with 18 (maybe one of the Xavier's Duursma or O'Halloran)

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I'm Sorry but if we lose Hogan for pick 5 and 23, i would not be happy. One could argue that it would end up being May + KK + 23, but even then Hogan alone is worth more than that. He is a true CHF (not FF). Heck even if we play him at CHB his value to the team would be just as important (a true CHF/B swingman). He has been through a rotten period in his life recently (lost his father, had to overcome testicular cancer, then after all that miss out on finals due to injury). If we can get him to re-commit to the Dees, we find ourselves so far ahead (and closer to that elusive pucking premiership) than if he were to leave by the end of trade week.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
We're not after draft picks, we're after May. I'd take Hogan over May any day of the week though.

Tells it like it is, and doesn't stuff around with delusional scenarios - hello peter bell (not worthy of capitals)

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Ha. If Lobb is worth close to 11, then Jesse is worth picks 1, 2 and next years first rounder.

If it meant Hogan were to stay and we brought in May, i'd be willing to let Hunt go, absolutely.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Need to get into Jesse's ear and say that as an extension of the MFC, that insult of an offer is Freo's view on both the MFC and Jesse. We want you, serious enough to put a long-term contract in front of you, with that offer Freo are simply not serious in bringing into their club.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
We should tell May to just chill for a year up at GC, bring him in via FA next year and get Jesse to sign an extension this off-season. Easy.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
We should now be going to Jesse with a contract extension, saying this is what Freo value you at and this is how we value you. Even if Freo come back if they get their hands on pick 5, if pick 11 doesn't come with it, we should tell Freo to GAGF.

He's giving Brett Burton a run for his money as most inept deal broker within the AFL. Just wait, they'll come back to us with like 5 minutes to go before the end of the trade period with a more realistic offer, just to stuff us around.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
anything less than 5&11 and we should simply walk away.

I guess the pick 2 they got for Lachie Weller has given them a false sense of being able to screw over every club they deal with. Morons.
