  1. Ummm...............he currently sits on 276 games. If he plays the rest of the games this year (10), that'll leave him with 14 to get next year.
  2. Nor will it 'just happen' for the rest of the team. This season is an example of getting way ahead of ourselves (Footy Department included).
  3. Exactly cr. It wasn't entirely Sam's fault we lost on Saturday, he was just one of a number of players who did not convert. He was just the last who missed. I collectively blame the team, not Sam alone, for last weekend's lost. Happy to have him sign on for another 2 years, regardless of the miss. Whether we won or lost wouldn't have made much difference to our season outcome, as it's already a lost year.
  4. I thought there were drainage issues with this location? Or maybe i just have NFI.
  5. Forget it Poita, the AFL couldn't give a [censored] about grassroots football clubs.
  6. Agree both are clearly head and shoulders above the rest. Purely on ruckwork, i'd rate Gawn as the better of the 2, but Grundy is virtually another midfielder around the ground such is his versatility and workrate.
  7. Spargo also seems to not understand the concept of a small forwards role of crumbing packs. Once it hits the deck that's where he simply has to be. A very limited footballer, compounded by the fact he only has one suitable position given his lack of height or speed.
  8. Poor Max is dominating hit-outs, yet our mids aren't taking advantage of it. Opposition mids are just roving Gawny's taps now. Need much better chemistry between our ruckman and mids
  9. Yes he is a liability, but at the moment, he is not the only one. But surely he is going to walk the plank come years end.
  10. Gil is the worst CEO in the entirety of the AFL. His ineptitude is so great, it almost makes you laugh, save for all the damage he has caused by ignoring grassroots football during his entire tenure.
  11. What has happened since the EF & SF last year. Not one player has improved since then.
  12. 1.8 in the last quarter (of which we kicked 5 behinds). Well at least the blowtorch should be on Goodwin and his pathetic game plan this week. 8 goals to 1 after we were up by 31 points. So Melbourne.
  13. Pity we've reverted back to 2019 Melbourne in the second half.
  14. 3.10 to 9.3 in the second half. 3.10 Says it all really
  15. Let's see what we're made of here
  16. I won't be satisfied until he is off the list. Not even VFL standard.
  17. It has been woeful. They look to pay frees to penalise, as opposed to frees rewarding.
  18. Jeffy with the hopefully the first of 4 this quarter. Not a bad time for him to play a good game
  19. a goal going in to 3qt would be handy for us
  20. They've brought the margin back from 31 to 15. Umpires or not, we need to respond.
  21. easier to lead when they're not being bombed in.
  22. Yep, been better than the likes of Spargo, Stretch and Hannan.
  23. OMAC up forward for a change? He's so uncoordinated he may just confuse the cr@p out of his direct opponent. He'd bring the ball to ground pretty well too i suspect
