The only reason why i can see us going for him is to replace OMAC. If that is the case, then i thoroughly encourage it. Maybe Frosty might just end up on a wing after all!

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread

If going on that ugly "P" word, potential, i'd have Anderson ahead of Rowell by some distance, however Rowell has more runs on the board at this stage to be worthy of the #1 pick. He would be a "safer" bet as #1 pick, but i wouldn't be surprised if Anderson was chosen at pick 1. Either way, it is unrealistic that either would be able to help push us back up the ladder next year.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs St Kilda

Great to see us playing to the siren. As much of a critic of Goodwin as I am, it is clearly obvious that this playing group only like giving effort when times are good, not when there’s an ounce of pressure or when times are bad. The playing groups attitude towards giving a [censored] is disgusting. Pride in performance and jumper is non-existent. Unacceptable and player’s need to be given what they deserve, tear strips off them. Time for long overdue tough love, those who prosper well and good, those who don’t can rot in the 2’s or can find another club
- If Adelaide sacked Pyke and made a long-term offer to lure Goodwin

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ

Agree Redleg. Whilst the idea of a social club is a nice idea, i'd be more than happy to not have one if it meant maximising the quality of the players' facilities. That needs to be the most important aspect of any move, it's what will attract and retain quality player's and must take precedence before anything else.

If GC get both 1st and 2nd picks in the draft, would you still be tempted to bring in Brodie Kemp even with him going down with an ACL? @spirit of norm smith

Well if he comes to us, one might just open up for him next year (Ala, Ratten at the Saints this year).

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT

Exactly Oli. He knows how to rove a pack and be at the fall of the ball. That automatically puts him ahead of Spargo playing as that crumbing forward.

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs West Coast Eagles

Stating the bleeding obvious, and it’s been said for ages, but god we need a complete overhaul of our defensive coaches and tactics.

The AFL wants to reduce tackling

The board in charge of running the AFL is the most inept in footy's entire existence. I would be ashamed to have these nitwits running the MFC (let alone being responsible for running the game). They truly rival Trump in idiocy. But hey, so long as they are in the news.

If you were the recruiting manager with pick #1 in the draft, would you pick Rowell or Anderson first?

The old straight arm block - The Gawn rule.

If they were consistent, then they should be paying 50 frees against each ruckman in every game. The fact Gawn got penalised twice and no more, or none against the Dogs shows that the umps pick and choose when to enforce certain rules (or make [censored] up on the fly). Funny how it happened when we were winning or had the ascendency too. It further re-I forced my belief that outcomes of games are now being pre-determined.

		POSTGAME: Rd17 vs Bulldogs

Still extremely raw, but there were some promising signs of Petty playing forward

The old straight arm block - The Gawn rule.

Just wait for the UA to come out and give it their tick of approval. Umpires these days are looking to pay frees against, as opposed to frees for.
