Nope, nope, nope. Teams when entering the league knew full well that AFL Grand Finals are played at the MCG, shouldn't have entered if they don't like it. Beside it's a bloody Grand Final. No matter where or when, teams should be ready to play, it is for the ultimate prize, so there needs no extra motivation to play. Should interstate stadiums get to 100,000+ capacity, and the highest team qualified for the GF is from said state, then so be it, but until then, the biggest game needs to be played in the biggest stadium.

I'm starting to really warm to the idea of drafting Bailey Williams with one of our first picks. With his athleticism and mobility, he could play as a tall forward who can more than adequately relief ruck and wouldn't be a liability when the ball hits the deck.

A bit hard for him to come back early considering he won’t be back until the new year given his post-season clean up surgery.

Completely agree WTM. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, Phuckinara has been riding the 2004 coattails for way too long. Pelchen did it too, and like Pelchen, he will eventually drift into irrelevance (can't come quick enough). Even Pretenderghast picked out Gawn, which goes to show, it is just as much, if not more about developing that raw talent once they are in the door, than it is identifying it. Who knows how Gawn would have turned out if not for Paul Roos & Co.

Tragic news. Was my favourite player whilst at the Dees. Played a couple of great games (30+ possessions and 4 goals against the Hawks comes to mind). He had a troubled second half of his life. May you rest in peace Col.
