On the subject of getting Gaff at year's end, would we want to now? Not from a "we don't want those types of characters at our club" view point, but when Gaff does return to the field, just how much would this affect his game? I get the impression that he is more on the introverted side of the scale, there'd be a good chance that when he returns he may be a shadow of what he has been due to being so shaken up by today's events.

What i'm really looking for this round is for us to come out switched on and keep it up for 4 quarters. We showed up for the first 10 minutes against the Saints then hit the snooze button, and we all know what happened in round 23 last year (thinking it would just happen for us). This is our 'easier' game for the rest of the season, we need to be merciless, run ourselves into some good form for the final month and bank some more percentage. If this group truly mean business, this will get ugly for the Suns.

At least it means that Tyson should be played in the only position he is not atrocious in. He is a capable inside mid, finds enough of the ball and gets to many a contest. His disposal is a concern (Viney's isn't elite mind you), but playing him in his natural position will help both Tyson and the team as a whole (none of this playing him on a wing or flank cr@p). Dom is purely an inside mid, luckily for him, there is a position in there that needs filling (you'd never play Jack on a wing or flank).

As pointed out above, his positives outweigh his negatives. A Superstar he is not, not even a star. But he is an important cog, one who is crucified for his mistakes, but rarely commended for doing the 1%'s (i.e. his 2-way running). It is often said the quality and depth of a team is measured by their bottom 6. If we get to a stage where he is a constant member of this group, then we will be in a pretty good position.

Maybe enter Steven May? At the very least, it would allow Lever to truly play as the intercept defender. A backline of Frost and Oscar doesn't fill me with confidence.
