GAMEDAY: JLT 02 vs Brisbane
The sooner he gets pushed out the better. At least Frost shows initiative and toe. OMAC is slow in every aspect of his play (especially in the head).

POST MATCH DISCUSSION: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT 01
Can't be too displeased with the final result. Our start was great, our second and third quarters were a worry, but liked that we fought back to within a goal in the last. With the players' we had out along with a horrid middle 2 quarters, we did well against a relatively strong Richmond side. Hope Garlett's injury isn't too much of a concern, but otherwise, thought it was just what we needed (highlighting the areas we need to further focus on going into the season).

GAME DAY: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT #1
He's slow in the head and slow in general play. He reminds me so much like Garland in their seemingly lackadaisical approach.

GAME DAY: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT #1
Yep agree King. He's just not quick enough instinct/reaction-wise. Nothing wrong with being a good disposer coming off HB though.

With the likes of Petty, OMAC, Frost and Wagner in there................can you be surprised?

Oliver is Oliver, but with the stunning emergence of Harmes and re-emergence of Gus, our midfield bats very deep.

GAME DAY: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT #1
We're missing VDB, Gawn, Viney, Hibberd, Jetta, Lever, May, Jones, Lewis, Melksham and Hannan (i count at least 9 of our best 22). Tiges are missing Grigg, Castagna, Lynch and Caddy from their best 22. A few missing from Tiges, a lot from our side, commentator clearly has NFI

Post Practice Match Discussion - Melbourne v Collingwood
Most of the time iâm in the same situation, but then that one moment comes along when Mitch Hannan runs down the wing and puts the game beyond doubt right in front of you makes level 1 seating pretty spectacular viewing.

Most Heartwarming Win?
Wasnât old enough to remember, but as my dad keeps telling it, the wins against the Hawks 2 weeks in a row back in 1990 (which was simply unheard of at the time) the first being the last home and away game, the next in the opening round of the finals, mustâve felt pretty special. further to that the extra week off after the eagles drew their final and had to replay it the following week...........how did we not win the flag in 1990 FFS. But alas this is the most heartwarming thread

Most Heartwarming Win?
Reading through some of our most heartbreaking losses really got me down with reliving the memories. So stuff that, let's hear some of our greatest wins. For me there are a number of memorable wins. 2000 QF against the Blues, 2000 PF smashing the Roos and knowing we're heading into a granny, 2006 EF, obviously the Weagles win and then subsequent GWS demolition where we could celebrate making the finals for the first time in 12 years among fellow Demon tragics, last years EF & SF. But the one that takes the cake for me has to be our first win in 2008 after being down by 50+ points at half time and 30+ points at 3/4 time against the Dockers. There were few supporters there that day, but wow we made some noise (when James McDonald kicked a long kick forward out of the centre to bronx cheers was memorable that day too).

The Co-Captaincy?
Hawks won the flag in 2008. VandenBerg was captain for 3 years until he retired at the end of 2007.
