Indigenous All Stars v West Coast Eagles

Count me in DV. Great work mate.

He walked out on the club, he's not the only one. He hasn't been able to put in enough hard work to succeed in the AFL. He's not the only one. Wow, must be a tool. He's actually a hell of a nice guy. Potshots from behind your computer. Nice work hero.

Although i applaud your sentiment, the reality is that if we are still sh7t, it's likely you will still get angry with players. Don't bother fighting it. Once we are better, our players will be less sh7t, and you won't get as angry. ps curry and beer your avatar is hot.

Hogans back issues are symptomatic. In other words, he complains of tightness, and that is the only thing the physios have to go off. there is nothing "wrong" with his back that shows up on scans, etc. Hopefully one day he learns how to deal with chronic back and hammy tightness but if not I can't see him playing many games of afl sadly. -

Difference is suckling is trying to hit targets 55 metres away surrounded by opponents but in position for a shot at goal. Grimesy (and others, I agree with you there) are missing targets 15 metres away with chip kicks that cost us goals. -

Stop buying into the Roos talk. It's not the fatigue that's the problem for Grimesy, it's the loss of self belief in his ability to execute effectively when it matters most. Roos just says it's the fatigue because he doesn't want to say "the boys shat themselves when the game was on the line because they were too scared to make a mistake and not prepared to back themselves in to win". Anybody who was at Etihad for the Brisbane game knows what I'm talking about. -

He'll play back until we start to beat our opposition in inside 50s more often. Then he'll play forward.

Are you sure about that order. I just checked and Knightmare has Petracca at 1. http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/knightmares-2014-phantom-draft.1060197/

I've been eating this way for a few years now. Lost about 10kg over the journey. Could never go back, stomach just freaks out when I have a heavy dose of carbs. -

They have been doing that since Misso started I believe. They also detail how many hours sleep they had each night and a bit of other stuff. -

AFAIK, Hogan's back is completely symptomatic. He experiences pain in his back, but there is nothing structural or physical that comes up on scans etc, not since the original stress fracture. An awkward kicking action won't make it worse. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JEFF GARLETT
Allen Jakovich replied to Demon3's topic in Melbourne Demons
Or Betts leaving was just one of many contributing factors which resulted in him having a poor year... -
Would take this trade in a hard beat. At his best a few years back was one of the cats finest players.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HERITIER LUMUMBA
Allen Jakovich replied to Moonshadow's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah, can't agree with that sorry. With the state of the game these days it's 18 v 18 out there, and if you can make your 18 better, then you should do that. Focusing solely on improving only a subset of the players you put on the pitch just doesn't make sense to me. -
If we get Treloar I will flip out. One of my favourite players in the AFL. Absolute gun. Younger than Danger too, and less susceptible to injury.

I have to agree. Oh for Stef back.

GOODBYE MITCH CLARK
Allen Jakovich replied to The Song Formerly Known As's topic in Melbourne Demons
I was just talking to the receptionist at work. Theoretically, one could assert that my relationship with my wife was on the rocks because i have been "seen with other women". I highly doubt Mitch Clark would treat the MFC that way (leaving to go to another club) after the way his contract with the MFC went down. I think he has more integrity than that. -
That was as bad as it has got for me after 34 years of watching the Dees. I will always support them, but the current group has completely lost me now. Some of the efforts today were deplorable. It all started with Kent, burning his teammates over and over again. Even his second goal, he should've given off. Watts continually leads to the right spots, and his teammates flung hospital handballs over their heads blindly. Absolute joke. We are the only team in the comp who doesn't realise if you don't play on your dead in today's game.

A few facts on our low scoring this season

Nice analysis, thanks. -
Interested to hear how the Scorps go today.

We might be a chance to if we didn't get smashed in the midfield every week.
