You do realise the medical profession has no idea what causes chronic back pain, don't you? That includes our doctors and fitness staff... it's not always black and white, open and shut case as to how this pain occurs and how to resolve it. Increasingly, it's being accepted that in many cases, it is caused by psychological factors, rather than actual structural or muscular issues, even if a physical injury is the catalyst. For example, the pressure and stress of being relied on to be the saviour of a football club...

Dunn only played forward for about a quarter in total. He also was directly responsible for our best kick of the day, and one of our best decisions of the day, when he got up quickly from his mark on the southern wing to hit JKH and beat the Saints defenders in their transition back to goal after Bail's great run out of our back 50. More play like that and it would have been a different scoreline on Sunday.

Exactly. This is what we did different under Bailey. We died by the sword rather than dying like a whimpering dog scared of it's tail. We were horrendous defensively, but at least when we had the ball we had a crack...

Why won't we shepherd our teammates properly? Drives me insane. It's the easiest of all the skills yet we try for dicky handballs instead.

Pedo should never play forward again, and Dunn should play forward until we get some keys back.

Only positive for me was our tackling and defensive pressure, our general endeavour after qtr time. But other than that, very few positives. Interesting to see how we go next week.

When we start winning a few games, the injuries will resolve themselves, I can assure you. The weight of the world on your shoulders as a key forward in the worst team in the comp can be... burdensome...

If we'd kicked 15.6 instead of 6.15 would we be so worried about our tall forward injuries? I'd suggest not. All is not lost guys, our new midfield has played a grand total of 1 games together. Give it time. The tide will turn. The cancer that was in our club last year is no longer present. We will not plunge to those depths again now that we have far more capable people running things, I can assure you. Plus i think a lot of people underestimate what Fitzy is capable of with a decent number and quality of F50 entries.
