  1. If injury allows it, Jesse Hogan will be the one for mine. Having witnessed him first hand down at Skilled last year in the game Casey won by a kick, where he was best on ground and Casey's most influential on field leader at 17 years of age. It's very hard to put into words how impressive he was that day. The kid has so many strings to his bow. He's smart, a great reader of the play, has phenomenal game sense, is hard and tough, is a great mark, both on the lead and in a pack, and wants desperately to be the man...
  2. The last time we lost by a goal or less was Round 2, 2010. Feels crap.
  3. Melbourne supporters have a history of criticising our forwards without understanding how difficult it is to play forward in a team that gets half the inside 50s of the opposition. Frawley has had a very good year given he's acclimatising to his new role and anyone suggesting we would actually WANT to lose him is very silly.
  4. Gawn has to go. Twice in two weeks we have been badly hurt by being too top heavy in our forward line.
  5. I'll tell you how to do it. Get an HTC one or a Samsung tab. Plug and play baby. Works like a dream, I plug them into tvs everywhere I go when people don't have foxtel and watch games unmerered on the big screen.
  6. Rowan Welsh clearly missed the bit when Mark Neeld was coaching the MFC.
  7. Confirmed on 360 last night that the headline was out of context, as I pointed out on page 1. Written apologies will be fine, thanks guys...
  8. I'll tell you one thing right now, Hogan will never be a "stay at home" forward.
  9. That'll do me too. But Roos hasn't confirmed he's staying for the 3 years, that is a fact that should be represented on the thread. AJ out.
  10. I did look at what has actually been said: “In terms of the pure coaching and the senior coaching, the three years will see me out.” LOL
  11. The headline is very misleading. It suggests he's confirming he will be senior coach for three years, not two... Where did he say he's staying for 3 years? Nowhere. Nothing has changed since two days ago... "“We’re still wedded to that, [but] whether that’s after two years or whether that’s after three years " If anything, I'm dissapointed as he mentions three years will definitely be the longest he stays as senior coach.
  12. Settle down guys, nothing has happened. Article is a bit mis-leading.
  13. Yeah I'm just forgetting about Hogan tbh, can't see him playing a a significant role for this footy club moving forward. I wish that wasn't the case but just seems to me like Mitch Clark all over again.
  14. I'll be there with my 35 week pregnant wife. C'mon Dees, back to back, let's go.
  15. Another ripper article WJ, nice one. Last year we got beaten by the Swans by 31 points and I was thinking, wow, they played well, that was a great effort. This year we lost by 31 points and I was very [censored] off that we didn't do better. That illustrates how far we've come. The wheel is turning. It won't complete a revolution overnight but it will get faster as momentum is gathered.
  16. There only one plan b. Somebody introduce him to John sarno. Please, for the sake of his career.
  17. Well all he's doing is walking, which was what he doing 8 weeks ago. So no progression. Disappointing.
  18. It's not surprising really. It's a "symptomatic" back injury. In other words, they have no idea what the problem is, and they are just hoping it gets better. I'd be surprised if he plays this year to be honest.
  19. On sen? Must have been Finey or Robert shaw then? I sincerely doubt either of those two fools would have any decent mail... Fully expecting him to play, especially as he's trained strongly this week hasn't he?
