  1. I thought so. Took me a while to get it just right.
  2. Wouldn’t think McAdam’s Manager would be happy. In the memory bank, if another player is deciding between Crows and another club.
  3. They are upset because they want Petty and possibly because we beat them to 11. They will drag it out, Dodoro and now Mackie style.
  4. They are definitely smaller. With bigger population and mass production, product quality has been sacrificed for the mighty dollar. Chocolate tastes like plastic, biscuits like wallpaper etc.
  5. Whether it’s overpaid by the Crows or not, for the Dees to even consider it, requires a replacement of Fogarty or Thilthorpe, 10 and McAdam thrown in. Crows want Petty and we want to keep him, so it takes a buster offer. You could even ask for another late pick for Fullarton as an ambit claim. However looking like Petty stays.
  6. It's funny, we are supposedly the easy club to deal with and have a good reputation in trades. We clear an AA and dual B & F Ruckman and a Premiership mid quickly and cheaply and yet offer good picks on fringe players and are still trying to get the deals done, after a week of the trade period.
  7. Unless Curtin says he will absolutely leave the first chance he gets and being homesick will greatly affect his performance. North cannot afford another JHF, it would be a disaster.
  8. Laurie?
  9. Maybe Derwayne and Eddie can be added to the deal, to make it totally unlistenable.
  10. Agree, but I did say "IF" he believes it is fine. I don't know if his knee is fine. Surely our Doctors/Physios can assess his knee and recommend what is to happen, play on or retire. I wouldn't imagine it is his decision solely.
  11. Which picks are involved?
  12. I am expecting another riveting day of trade week today.
  13. Yes, winning a free frozen cordial drink, was a day’s highlight for a youngster.
  14. If he believes his knee is now ok, then going on is fine for his last year. I think the one we should be looking at is Tom Mac, who has/had foot issues and is totally immobile and seemingly incapable of having any impact.
  15. My post was in answer to Scahche being describe as only capable of uncontested possessions. I was posting that maybe one uncontested possession, which was more than Tom Mac was contributing, could have won us the game.
  16. Tomlinson is available for a couple of years. Just played finals.
  17. Well Goody could have brought him on in the last quarter, replacing Tom Mac, who was absolutely hopeless, with 1 possession in the 2nd half. Schache could have run the dizzy, concussed Weitering around and ended up with an uncontested possession, which could have put us in a PF.
  18. Pretty busy trade day, hard to keep up with all today's trade news. Might have been better advised, to have just slurped on a cola and rum slushee.
  19. Well he has played OK at Casey this year.
  20. The Southern Neerim Road side and Western Kambrook Road side, where the stables were located, provide ample room for massive facilities. The inner car park area provides room for 2 ovals plus.
  21. Pies Vice Captain goes for 33. AA and dual B & F Grundy for 46 and F2. Cats want better than 24 for a guy they don't select in their side. Gotta love them, coming from Dodoro college.
  22. Because we feel that we need 11 for future use and some club like Adelaide, wanted it too.
  23. It is very possible we finalise McAdam and Fullarton for later picks and do nothing else this trade period. I suspect we won't know about any pick upgrade swaps for a while, as there is no need for WC or North to swap now, as it can be done as late as on draft night, just before the pick being chased is used.
