Sitting next to Clarkson in a cafe. Keeping my phone out of site.

MM's right hand man in the Coaching box, Edelsten the foolish was in Court again with his latest squeeze. She looked a treat in her bright orange pigtails. About the 5th time I have seem there recently.

Good luck.

Nailed it son.Though that pick 1 got us Jesse and Dawes, so Prendergast must have been a genius or a clairvoyant.

Maybe a writ of Habeus Corpus, to Produce the Smoothie.

Football Department Contact with Umpires

Incorrect. Just for 2 recent examples early in the Crows and GWS games we were controlling the ball and well up on the scoreboard, but were getting murdered by the umps. Anyway they generally don't determine results. -
Football Department Contact with Umpires

I would need to be on the ground at 1/4 and 3/4 breaks to get near them. -
I was obviously at another game. You liked his kick off the side of his boot straight to a Docker, when he could have lobbed it into the goal square for Jesse and his handball to a standing still Jamar, who had 2 Dockers near him. I am not positive but think both may have resulted In Docker goals. Jordie is a great guy, but is a major liability with his shocking disposal, in today's possession game, where a poor disposal often leads to the opposition scoring.

Football Department Contact with Umpires

FWIW, I went down to the umpires race at half time as they left the field. I was in my Dees hat and was within a few feet of all 3. I said that they had not given the same decisions to the young Dees, that they gave to the name players of the Dockers. I said holding the ball is holding the ball no matter what jumper. I didn't swear or abuse them. They looked at me and grinned. I haven't done that in 30 years. Funny thing though, we got 8 frees to none in the next quarter. -
Aside from the Dunn comment, agree with the rest. Coaching was very poor, both in the set up and picking of a slow tagger, without basic AFL skills, as a sub. Mind boggling selection. The failure to man up the 7th defender was a match losing move. Poor disposal again and a brilliant midfield opposition, in a team well drilled and with good disposal, meant certain defeat.

Speaking of which, the place that made my favourite banana smoothies has closed down, due to a redevelopment. This is hard to cop.

Footscray v Casey Scorpions - Round 2, 2015
Redleg replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hello. And the very next week. -
And they have only Dawson out. Not only are they great, but at full strength, while we are not.

Mitch Clark out with a foot injury. Foot in a moon boot on Tuesday.

Our compensation of Jesse and Chris for the departure of that ex player is looking good now.

He had 2 years left of contract at say $500k per year. I would imagine he will get his full pay this year and a part of next year. That way they free up a spot and save some money for salary cap and Col gets a great deal.He is also probably free to earn more elsewhere and return home.

Dockers are reported as injury free, with a full list to choose from and even Ballantyne back.

I think Burns is a lover of some of the fine wines. If he had several glasses, is it not possible that he would not remember a comment made to a mate, on a night where he may have had more glasses later and then 2 days later is accused of a making the offensive comment?

I am ready to get howled down, but it is interesting to note, that someone having a private conversation, not yelling out a remark to the public at large, is eavesdropped and reported for it. The context of the remark is unknown. For example what if the comment was " some people could call Houli a terrorist and that would be offensive", yet only part of it was heard by the Informant. I haven't got the faintest idea what was said, only that I thought, what was forbidden, were offensive comments yelled out and directed to someone, but heard publicly. I was unaware that even private conversations, that no one else heard, other than the Informant, including the CEO of the AFL, who was sitting directly behind the parties in the conversation, could nevertheless land you in hot water.

No, but the Manager would want to know what his value is in the marketplace. Doing his due diligence he needs to be able to say to his client,"this is what the MFC are offering and this is what I can get for you at "whoever". What do you want to do? Do you want to stay with the Dees? Are you happy with their offer, or do you want me to try and negotiate more?"
-
Yes I was confused by it as well. Maybe a personal issue.
-
Good luck, hope you are ok.

I love people who argue their point, by quoting someone and then completely ignoring the quote. This what you highlighted " Sorry, didn't realize invading his space meant he actually touched him." Now, is your point that invading someone's space means actual contact? To answer your new point, no you don't have to tolerate drunk people invading your space and repeatedly yelling in your ear as you try to walk the street. But you have to use reasonable force only, or preferably none, to end the situation.
