The allegations were made as part of an external review commissioned by the club, and were made public by the ABC on 20 September 2022. An AFL investigation was triggered, and ran until May 2023. 30 Sept 2022 — Hawthorn have signed Port Adelaide wingman Karl Amon to a four-year deal after the AFL free agency period opened on Friday.

    Karl Amon says hi.

Maybe a straight swap with Brockman, who wants to return home.
  4. Wow. Now we will only have to go to Geelong for the next 20 years.
  5. What type of house do you have?
  6. I think we will do exactly that for him and Melk, to help them financially, keep them involved and continue our strong culture development. That also doesn’t tie up list spots and our players and player managers would see our commitment to our players. That is gold.

I had him gone, but now with his last couple of cameos he is a keeper and other older injured players leaving, will also give him more opportunities.

My favourite post in a while.

On that list Melk 32, Hibberd 34 before next season, BBB 31 soon, Luke 29 by next season. Tom now back playing, 31 end of year. Harmes, JJ and maybe even Spargo probably looking around and of course Grundy. Big change to our list is close.
  10. And when a sell out is likely in a final, give priority in the AFL members to the competing teams’ AFL members. Having competing club AFL members miss out, or sit up in the gods, when other clubs afl members have taken the best seats is a disgrace. She needs to fix this immediately and most wouldn’t argue.

Maybe I am the odd one out, but on what I have seen of Humphrey, Reid should be far superior.

Got to be stoked with that hand.

This point just doesn't make sense. Clubs must make at least 3 changes. I believe we will make more than 3. We have 2 picks in first round. If we trade up to 4, that is 3 picks in first round. I assume all later picks would be used to get 4 anyway. We would clearly have room for 3 selections.

McLean just signed for 4 years with the Swans.

Possibly. It is scary to possibly give up so much for Reid, if we in fact can get him..

Later picks give points to GC to use on NGA players.

I won’t be baited, as I am having a whale of a time seeing the Dees in the finals, while the minnows have missed out and I just need to shark some tickets now.

Another quiet weekend for footy. Maybe this weekend will be better.

IF he has done an ACL and if that means he will retire, I think our culture will see that he will get another year's pay of some sort and then be delisted, at a time we can replace him, say to upgrade a rookie. That way he will have one year of income and we will have our list place. The rest of the list and all the player managers would be watching on and that will enhance our reputation as a club that puts it's players first and continue to drive our culture of "we are all in it together".

Well we know they always get 3 from soft Curnow free kicks for a start.

If WC want Curtin and can trade 1 for another pick that still gets him and they get a bonus pick or two, that is clearly better for them. Curtin is a WA boy at 195 cms who can play midfield and key forward or back. He is apparently their main target. If nobody trades with WC, they use pick 1 on him and that is it. How we get Reid, if he is our main target, is up to JT convincing WC to trade. The dangers seem to be North and Hawks threatening to take Curtin. Curtin would have to convince those clubs, he would do a JHF in 2 years and that it is therefore their risk to select him.
