Langdon bombing in the last minute, when you need to keep possession, wow. Our disposal is still a real worry and the bombing into F 50 oh dear. But, we won and still in top 4. Viney just a bull. Gus was good and I thought Tommo was very steady. Kozzie best game this year and with Kade kicked valuable goals.

Couple of other things needed too, Clarry, Fritta and Petty have to return and get to top form quickly, forward line sorted out and ruck situation as well. I agree that our BEST is probably enough to win it.

Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition
Redleg replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
Logically they will beat the Eagles but maybe no one else with Hawks the only other chance. Suns play Roos in last game and have better %, so it should be pick 4 for us and a good second rounder too. -
Very good contested mark already and an accurate kick. Another pre season and more muscle and he will be JVR’s key forward partner.
-
Yes if he kicked the 4 goals it would be a different situation. Agree he looked really p-ssed .
-
I thought he was disappointing. He wouldn’t get a senior game next week based on that. Dropped marks, fumbled and kicked poorly. Even in the ruck up forward he wasn’t great. Obviously doing a bit of reprogramming.
-
Go Swans and Dees tomorrow.
-
Can he bat or bowl?
-
Absolutely. He will keep improving with experience. Is very composed with his disposal and that is something a few in our side lack. We have found another soldier.
-
Not surprising with probably 20kgs heavier and about 7 cms taller, plus a lot of AFL experience.

Anyone for cricket 🏏?

Manager said probably Barassi probably stays, just had another child, Swans are the other club if he goes.

Playing Faris White with Verall suggests Grundy will play a lot key forward.
-
HF Melksham Redleg Kozzie (we're in need of a CHF) Now I understand. Bloody Grundy is named and could be after my spot.
-
I don’t follow. What’s up for grabs? I was complimenting Godwin’s presser.
-
Agree. Never stumbled once and was forthright and unambiguous. Ended the media speculation about Grundy being a permanent key forward once and for all.
-
Contracted players can be traded.
-
No I don’t. You obviously think ANB and Spargo are better players than JJ. I wonder how many agree with you.
-
Freo play Eagles and Hawks and if they beat them and Swans, pick 4 is probably gone. Lose to Swans and they need both wins to move up, but a win by sides above them in last 5 games will stop that. Hope you are right though Luci.

I have an idea for the fixture, to even up past injustices, Dees don’t play at Geelong for the next 40 years.

Ok thanks, I hadn’t heard those nick names.

Need them to win this week. Pick 4 is nearly there for us.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Redleg replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ben McKay came from the same womb, on the same day, as Harry Mc Kay, but I can’t really think of anything else. -
Who are fridge and freezer?

He is not a “great” player, he is a good player and as much as I am a fan, that is the problem. He is behind some great players. Even if Harmes, Dunstan and Laurie go, who are all behind him, freeing up some cap space, that is probably not the answer as it’s about playing regularly. I would move on ANB and Spargo to give him more opportunity, but that won’t happen.
