AFL Mid-Season Draft 2024
Does he qualify for the good bloke defence?

NON-MFC: Round 06
Thankfully we have great commentators. Darcy at 13 minutes to go in game, with Cats over 4 goals up, in rain, says ” if Lions are to win, they simply must get the next goal, you would think”. Yes most of us would think that. Lions had only kicked 4 goals for the game. Then at 9 minutes to go, he says “ the Lions need the next goal” and at that point they are nearly 5 goals down. Maybe I am being a bit hard, as most of them are just ex footballers, not professional sport commentators.

How could Tigers and Crows get rid of him, even if he was a bit naughty.

AFL Mid-Season Draft 2024
The AFL refers to us having one free spot because of Gus' retirement, but what of the Smith spot? He is not allowed to play, but hasn't as yet had a decision in his case. Surely he goes onto the LTI and a spot opens up, as he is very unlikely to play again this year.

Don’t blame umpire number 25 who was the closest umpire. I posted when we played the Dogs, he was probably the worst umpire I had ever seen. Have seen him a few times since and he has got worse. Rare to see Crows get less frees at home. 21-12 we copped is more the usual. Anyway it wasn’t the umpires who cost Crows the game, it was their horrible disposal. Rachelle also dropped a couple of sitters right in front and missed a couple of shots. Too many fumbled and butchered the ball. If Bombers kicked for goal a little better, it would have been an easy win. If Port beat Pies and Bombers can also, Pies’ season would be very shaky.

Harrison Petty
Well he has a great record with his info, so I will prepare myself for a Petty departure at seasons’ end. Given BBB will probably retire, Smith is probably gone too and Jeffo isn’t up to it atm, we will have a desperate need for a couple of experienced key forwards. A player like Lukosius who is rumoured to be available and a bigger bodied experienced key forward, would have to be targets for us. I wanted Treacy included in the LJ deal, but it didn’t happen. I think Turner could be a chance to play forward in the future, if we are desperate. Verall is another who could play forward, as he has good hands. I wonder if Fullarton could also be trained up to play a more permanent forward role. A bit more muscle could help him. I am sure if we know Petty is leaving, we will be preparing for it. It will be an interesting watch.

Has he said that?

Is he connected with Uni Blacks?

5 prior offences is not a good guy, it’s a recidivist. Sparrow copped a week for a much softer sling. Obviously not a good guy. I have never liked Gleeson’s findings and reasons, that change continuously.

Jack Lukosius
He would make our 23. BBB probably gone end of season and Tom has gone back. Only Jeffo to come, hopefully.

Jack Lukosius
We are so blessed with quality key forwards, why would we want him? That was sarcasm.

CASEY: Rd 03 vs Port Melbourne
I agree, ( I hope ).

But he had 3 priors, 2 for striking, just no suspensions.

Except that Port play Pies and Butters out would have helped Pies.
