Maybe and don’t think he would be looking to help out Dodoro.

AFL Footy Manager role hasn’t been filled and Gale has just knocked it back.
-
If the AFL want them to, they will get it.
-
Why would they do that when North at least would give them 2 and more to get Reid and then they get Curtin and more.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

What’s this Binmans PA name? -
Agree. He has shown that with development he is a very good chance to make it. The only thing I haven’t really seen, because I am watching him on the VFL site, is his running ability.
-
Yep. Am hoping it’s just a few details being finalised and then bang.

May doesn’t play on Cameron and I don’t recall him playing on Greene lately. You must admit that Curnow would beat May in contested ground ball and that May has slowed in the last year.
-
So no mention of any new training ground? Was there any reason given why the function was held? I still believe if my info was correct, that there will be an announcement about us having our new home base at Caulfield Racecourse in the near future.

There would be no way we are heavily investing in a facility on crown land, with only a 21 year lease. 99 years more likely.
-
I see something like that happening, as the Roos and Hawks will simply not allow Reid to go past their pick. I think it will be more than 2 and Compo to get 1, unless the AFL engineer it to give Roos 3 as compo thereby giving Reid to Roos and Curtin and whoever to Eagles. I can see that happening. I just can’t see Reid to us. Would be happy to take 4 and maybe another high pick from GC after swaps and then 18 and 22 to the draft. Could really grab some great talent with that lot.

As I recall from the Foundation Heroes event, the debt was covered in one night’s donating. Without doubt the biggest fund raising event ever at the MFC. It was Jimmy’s idea and his gift to us, with the time he spent away from his family, working on the event, when he should have been spending every precious moment with his family.

Not only is the Foundation Heroes event on today, but also the Ron Barassi Wills and Bequest event. This is for people to include the MFC in their Wills and Bequests Ties in with money being sought for new facilities. Remember we have a lot in the bank already from the sale of Bentleigh land and Oakleigh lease of pokies facilities. However, we would be talking a lot more money and will need plenty from other sources, private, government, AFL etc. Hopefully my info was correct and Caulfield Racecourse is about to be announced as our new home base. Go Dees.

What a Su-k.

Go to our masochistic sub thread.

I don’t think there is a role for Tommo this week as I don’t think May can play on Charlie. I would play May on the resting ruck. Carlton have an otherwise small forward line and we need quick backs like Salem, McVee, Bowey and Hibberd. I would try Rivers on Charlie. Charlie is too quick for May and better at ground ball too. Even Hibbo could be a better option.

Today could be the day.

Maybe just a change of scenery to freshen the boredom.

You are being sarcastic I presume. If he puts on muscle over summer, will play some games next year.

Yep. Completely lost it and was off his head.

Yes.

Still remember that and Slug Jordon couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

So Dockers are an absolute certainty in the Derby this week, if the Eagles want multiple picks. They would still get Curtin if they win however, as Roos would take Reid. I am not sure how we could do a deal though, if Roos and Hawks threaten to take Curtin. You would need Curtin to say he will likely return home after first two years. Looks pretty hard to me.

So we have played the most games at Kardinia Park in the last 30 or so years besides Geelong and the second most at Manuka and Blundstone besides the home team, while at the same time Pies, Blues, Bombers, Tigers and Hawks have virtually avoided all 3 grounds. Sounds fair to me.
