The Pick 1 Thread
Our 11 and F1st pretty good for Cats and maybe even Giants for dropping back a few spots.

Training Ground?
We are working through amber, but should be green soon. It is administered by a trust and community use is an indispensable factor.

The Pick 1 Thread
You have talked me into Curtin. He really looks like Mr. Versatile. Mid, key position, flank. If we don't trade up for Reid, I would love to take Curtin and somehow trade up for O'Sullivan. I wonder what it would take to get GWS's 5 or Cat's 7. Our 11 and F1st. I would still even look at the Haynes GWS salary dump, if we could get their pick. We could then trade 11 for a F1 from someone.

I think the turning point was his attendance at the races the night before the GF. Coach was clearly not happy. Schultz has probably now made him redundant.

The Pick 1 Thread
They want more for pick 1, hoping that they still can get Curtin at the traded pick.

Why Melbourne Must Hire a Coach to Solve Their Forward Woes
Certainly as a kicking coach.

What, after pick 1 is used?

Why Melbourne Must Hire a Coach to Solve Their Forward Woes
Max has had 12 years in the AFL and won't suddenly, dramatically improve his kicking.

Why Melbourne Must Hire a Coach to Solve Their Forward Woes
I think we are all forgetting about Jefferson. If he can develop a little quicker, he is another key forward option. He can take a contested mark and unlike most of our forwards, is a good kick for goal. A good pre season in the gym and on the track, could land us another key forward.

Trade Rumours 2023
So would I. Kozzie can have a few minutes early in a quarter to get him involved. Woey and Howes have both played midfield as juniors. Spargo also was a mid. Give him a try and see what he can do. Rivers and Bowey could also be tried. Then we might add a young mid in the draft, who goes straight in. I don't prescribe to this theory that a player is only a certain type in every single case. Some players are more versatile than FD's and fans give them credit for. It is only pig headed attitudes that refuse to try some of these options.

Harrison Petty
I hope not. He has 2 years left on his contract, so that would be a breach by both him and the Crows..

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 11
Or as I suggested, maybe a straight swap for Reid, who may prefer to go home, if WC keep pick 1.

Jack Gunston
Gunston is 193 cms, just saying. He is taller than all 4 you named.

Trade Rumours 2023
We have also added Fullarton, who on what I saw in the VFL this year, could be of some help and McAdam, a mid size forward who can take a big grab, might help also. I hesitate to say this, but we also have Schache, though Goody is clearly not going to play him and fwiw, Turner played a scratch match up forward and did well, could he be tried up forward if needed?

Hopefully Gold Trip not running either.

Harrison Petty
I think I have mixed up some different posters' quotes. So sorry about that. I agree that we keep him and I have a grandson with the same name and photos of them together, which I don't want to devalue by him playing elsewhere, ( that's a poor attempt at humour ). Lets move on.

3 hours ago, deejammin' said: So you’re saying trade him now because he’s crippled and won’t play good footy again? You’re assuming Burgess and Adelaide are stupid and haven’t done their due diligence? He’ll play early next year. Bet on it.

Someone posted " he will definitely be playing early next year". Of course they have the right to say that. Don't get so precious and indignant about my post then, when I express my opinion, on that statement, made apparently without any knowledge of Petty's injury or having any medical training. That is my opinion.
