With other clubs now wanting to do Tyson like trades (or at least discussing them), it seems to me the braver course this year may be to actually choose Brayshay and McCartin. I can understand supporters wanting ready made players with a couple of years under the belt, and the curse of our recruiting making us flinch. As it gets closer and there arent any stars (Danger, Sheil etc) available, Id like us to call the bluffs and go for the young guns.

Ive heard from 2 quite different sources that the saints are going for 2 meter Peter. If not him they are trading for a tall forward i.e. Cameron. Both the sources Ive heard from are believed to be in the know from other saint supporters. I just hope we dont get the Petracca pick traded from right in front of us.

I listened to JT discussing missing Adelaide on the radio about 2 months ago on a Saturday morning. He was being interviewed as MFC's cultural representitive at the time. When asked about SA he sounded homesick and didnt really discount going back. At the time I strongly felt he was looking for a trade home. I wouldn't be surprised if he is gone in a trade at the end of the year. In fact I would think its 50/50 but merely my opinion.

Rory Sloanes 100th was celebrated big time at Upwey Tecoma today. Hardwick and Rory are the only 2 100 game AFL players from there. It would be a big surprise to Rorys mum and dad who just moved to Glenelg beach if he came "home". All those players may make mistakes Bob, but they are fast getting rid of it. I would like Jack Grimes to succeed and if he just played on quickly rather than overthink each disposal his mistakes wouldn't be so blaring. This deliberating exacerbates his errors. He made some fantastic spoils.

Any Demons supporter except his apologists were fearful when Jack Grimes got the ball on the half back flank 3 points up 2 minutes to go. Says it all.

My Godfather! Standing in the rain on the steps watching Jack Watts I wondered if he just thought that the conditions dont suit him? To read some (if you cant say anything etc...) think that his team mates are hindering JW's career, is deeply disappointing. One level because it is possible thats what he might think. Another level it makes me wonder if many MFC fans are inclined to think that. But mostly because of Jack Viney's brave efforts today.

People will say they tried... I saw no pride in most of those players performances. No motivation to take a mark in the wet or nail a kick in favour of a team mate. I get so depressed with this team.

I like reading Saty's reports and although it can slightly irk me, I dont mind if he is thought of as a Demonland respresentative. I am happily part of that. Stick with it Saty.
