I was intrigued when I saw the jury panel. I tried to get in the 1sts with the Essex Heights under 14s where Emmett Dunne was the outstanding star and looked as good as Geoff Raines. He grew tall and I followed his career as he seemed to simultaneously lose that early gloss, became a total spud and then a cop. Bad show. He is the type that would have a guilty verdict, just his go. Will probably run the cops in Victoria. Moose Henwood I had a couple of kick sessions with and he was the most disappointing ex AFL/VFL player (swans, demons) Ive come across, couldnt mark, run or kick. Seriously. He was tough and I never got anywhere near his level playing competition but he was only late 30's and I felt sorry for his lack of skills. I fervently hope he reads this. He doesn't deserve to be on any panel. The only glamour in that was Shimma who was fantastic, never say die and my only knock on him is that RDB picked him instead of Rob Flower as his favorite wingman. Ive got love for Shimma after what Ron Casey did to him. But fack him too. So this panel is now shamed IMO. Im happy with that outcome.

WOW!

Cant believe only 100 take out membership! wow.

I agree BB. I dont think the Tribunal came up with the guilty judgement. It may have come down from the new CEO.
-
Yes it sounds like it lacks the depth required. I would have thought more information has come to light with either injuries being on the other side or (hopefully) Lynch releasing a statement saying he thought he was pushed by Georgiou into Viney. Saying they dont have a clue may not be best practice.

It was a get up for gigs. Never did they intend to let him go.

No expense spared video wise.

If its your job to offer a contrary view, you cant say "too hard, I got nothin'"
-
Things are looking positive, if thats all the prosecution has got!

A bigger issue maybe that it goes to the way Viney plays. Id hate him to lose confidence in his attack. He may have to take advice from JW about hard ball gets... (Its a joke joyce)
-
I think he will get 2 weeks because its politically incorrect to bump hard. Viney has always been the epitome of the hard bump in Juniors. Im glad we won and believe taking Lynch out (legitimately) got us over the line. Unfortunately Jack may be made to pay. I bet nothing would have happened if they got up.

We really have to be more vocal at our home games. Ive cooled down but its the only mitigating circumstance. The crowd screaming so loud. Umpires should be embarrassed by that effort.

From the little I watched on Fox, he wants 18 teams but says the Tasmanian question is unanswered....

I have had "High grade partial tears of the patella tendon" for years. Patella Tendonitis or "Jumpers knee". (thats ironical!) I found that after 3 months of letting it recover, then using the scholl inserts ($33 at chemist warehouse) in my asics runners, and work shoes;the pain and limping, grabbing banner rails walking down stairs etc greatly diminished. I recommend them (to amateurs like me) because they worked almost immediately where as the $900 hard inserts from podiatrist still sit in my bedside drawer. Krill oil etc never seemed to help but after 6 months of trying it I gave up. Sorry if off-topic but well worth the $33 investment if youre getting over the hill.

Say what you want, but for me, gripping a game by the neck Id have Gaz then Lethal. So many make up 3rd spot I choose daylight.

People defending Jordie and Jack normally wait until Wednesday for the heat to cool off.

If the leadership group have any clout at all, it may be their role to take a stand against Jack Watts being in the ones each week. You cant expect team players to put in, when they watch that. Its not just this week or last week, his onfield performance must be bad for team harmony.

Robbo just said he thinks Moloney's career is finished

I may be wrong(please tell me) but I thought that we looked after Brent pretty well when there were reports/talk that he would be lucky to play again with ostio pubis. I thought he was out for a good two (or even 3) years. The club carried him through this, which it didnt have to. -
Sophies choice, Id have Watts in, McKenzie out, talent wins. But it exposes our situation to not be able to stand up against what really appeared to be no interest.
-
After last weeks display, Im disappointed that Jack Watts wasnt dropped. Im a Watts fan to tell the truth, but I felt embarrassed for him on his slow jog, arms slightly extended, acting interested, [censored] non-effort.

Players to target at the end of the year

This thread is nothing but a reflection of the crushed promises of 2014. -
So good to see your happy new support for Dunn when you used to chortle.

We need a new ruckman more than we need a Key position F/B or a fast midfielder. Gawn Spencer and Jamar are all flawed. The only one of hope is Spencer who maybe just needs good coaching to get the best out of him.

Imagine if we had Clark as well... I now can see we would easily jump up a level. But If wishes were horses beggars would ride.

When we get back Garland, we should drop McKenzie and get Jack Grimes to play his stoppage role. Grimes seems to always take a tall(er) forward, and struggles. I believe he may do better than Jordie in that role and win some footy of his own. We need Nathan to play positive not negative football, and I get itchy all over watching McKenzie.
