We have no point of defence for this so just be glad we are not walking around wearing umbrellas as slippers. Also, we have been waiting a while so we are reassessing what we expect to happen almost weekly - and that is going to end in tears one way or the other...

I am intrigued by TMac on a wing... I don’t think Brayshaw is a natural for it and we could begin a month of seeing how it goes with The below; Viney replaced in mid rotation by Brayshaw Brayshaw replaced on wing by TMac Weideman in to replace TMac Petty in to replace Tomlinson Also gives Petty a period of time to impress and if it doesn’t work out we battle on with TMac in the backline and our preferred forward set up when we started to prepare for this season and constructed the list.
  3. In no way was that the same and you know it. Fritsch knew what he was throwing his elbow at. Hawkins was flailing about due to a jumper tackle by May. But scream at the sky if you want, IDGAF.
  4. He deserves a week for it - imagine if that was someone on the other team... He was careless and if he wants to fend off with his forearm instead of his hand then this is what you might do to someone. I would appeal but not expect anything. In comes Weideman.

How would you know that we are getting them right if you don’t look back at them? Also, DD is highlighting a trade that is now a testament to the work the club has done to maximise our ability to get talent.

One bad half and they are up and about... Hopefully a win next week and they can scatter back into the woodpile...
  7. Cant replace your best players. To that end - Replacing Viney is a misnomer. Petty will come in and Sparrow I guess, unless they get Brayshaw in there and TMac makes the move this week to the wing. Brayshaw is as much a winger as TMac and they way his confidence is up - TMac can play anywhere and contribute.
  8. Our game style can’t take too many passengers and if there are a few that are not high in their intensity we will struggle because we don’t hold and slow the footy like Geelong or PA; we crowd the footy to win it back in the forward half. If two players are not right, that creates holes that will hurt all the way past our high backline to the other end of the ground. Contrarian View I thought Fritsch was hopeless in the first half and with ANB being horrid, a more subdued Spargo and an out of sorts Melksham - our forward line was not up for it. Fritsch looked disinterested in his role as a small terroriser when we don’t have the footy and he needs to change that quickly. With Brown taking that deeper role; Fritsch needs to reassess his role IMO. And he should reap the rewards of Brown being down there as he did in the second half. Orher than that, there were a few ‘millionaires’ out there that shouldn’t cash their cheques just yet- they haven’t done anything. Certainly not enough for over the shoulder handballs, and kicks that they are not good enough to hit. I expect either Syd or a Carlton to beat us in the next two weeks as the season hits the legs and we move along in our journey to September!
  9. Rd 16 at the G So a couple months he can have some form.
  10. Mate, triggered. I ain’t the problem; we always come with alternatives and explain the security concerns and I have analysts on tap if people need help working out what they need. Still get a few nuffies telling me that I am stifling innovation because I won’t push the Cyber team to drop our proxies to allow them to use a dodgy tool run out of Europe... So yeah, IT can be unhelpful, but not my front door.
  11. I’m in IT - you’re the kind of user that requests a software that is completely unnecessary for the thing you are trying to do, we try to tell you that you don’t need it and you should just do something more straightforward but of course we ‘are in IT’ so what would we know... and then you embarrass yourself and then I hear in the grapevine that it’s because I didn’t approve using a cloud solution based in Ukraine that the ‘minister really wanted to use’... ... I might be working through some things here.

I don’t have to repect anything. And that’s enough Hun talk - not worth any more time.

Please don’t equate the National broadcaster to Murdoch. And let’s keep this stuff in the general board.
  14. I cringe when I have to read nonsense like ‘he can’t kick’ because he misses gimmes like he did against GWS. Are you [censored] kidding me? What he does in the middle is extraordinary and some mouth breathing Dees supporters are on him because he tenses up in front of goal once a fortnight? They must really hate Fritsch then, he does it 3 times a game and it is his primary function. Anyway, glad he is getting more recognition - he is one of our suite of bonafide stars; Gawn, Petracca, May, Lever and Oliver.

We will have a boil over game and you lot will react on here like your favourite Star Wars character was replaced by a woman. Long season, all teams have weaknesses and we are the only ones with ours not yet exploited. There is no super team and that is great considering the last time we got close. Footy is good atm. ... And [censored] Geelong. Lel.
  16. An in form Melksham is better at the role of medium forward than Jones. Neither are setting the world alight but to call it pathetic is projection.

She’s also spot on. I lean into it; ‘so I have disposable cash? And connections? And an education? And have high end tastes? ... You just really hate yourself don’t you?’

Nah, what is he elite or great at? Medium forwards are ubiquitous

You do realise that they don’t have their first round pick yeah? GWS KOTD.

Dogs go to water under pressure... Interesting.
  21. At least King attempts to do some deeper analysis, so he is fine. And we don’t have a second or third game plan - it was just a tactical shift that we were pushed into and we’re comfortable with because we are good. Brayshaw said as much in the interview on the Dees website. We fell into that. We don’t have time to work on different game plans and trust everyone to understand and buy in - there are only tactical shifts.
  22. This one too. Can you imagine if he was 10 times the player Hunt is. 5000 metres gained every week. Tough to do.

Hopefully none of them have bad motivators...

With That Backline and CO13, CP5, MG11 in the midfield and TMac and BBB up forward - we are going to struggle to get into conversations for these players.
