POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Pre-season surgeries for our main stars will determine whether we can defend the title. Injuries next year play a part but our squad will be pretty hungry still I reckon.

Wilson’s Big Call
"We respectfully tried to boot Tmac and Nibbler out" And Tmac in particular said that no other club offered a realistic contract and that is why is he still here - we were going to pay a large proportion of his wage so we were giving him away. No-one was serious in their interest and the rest is history.

Wilson’s Big Call
Wasn’t incorrect though. Brown is on far less than that deal he turned down. He is probably happier than he would be if he sign that deal with NM but still a lot less cash. Great for us tho. $1.8m over 4 years I think it is. Bargain.

Back to Back?
I am going to enjoy the ride. After pining for the Dees to be premiership contenders it all crystallised and came to fruition in the space of three months. This is going to be fun. Nervous, unbearable fun.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Saw him live this year in Rd 3 and just watched him move around the ground. My gut reaction? Jet.

Prediction: We will have won the most VFL / AFL premierships by the end of this decade.
I, ah, think you are over thinking my post. Stress less and just enjoy the footy.

Tempting fate here. Lets just enjoy going to the G when it’s heaving and knowing we can, and should, beat anyone.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TOM SPARROW
The problem for Tom is that the midfield is a tough place to break into in any meaningful way. Viney and Harmes being injured was a blessing for Sparrow and Jordon and with our mids being in their primes - we are going to struggle to keep those pushing to replace them.

Proved them wrong
Speaking of peanuts and being wrong. Where in the world is Olisik and Dr. D? Gone back to their actual clubs? Over to Saintsational to troll St Kilda fans?

Merch/Memorabilia
The “give ‘em hell” t shirt was pretty good quality. Although I do get most of my t shirts from red bubble…

Kate Roffey, the unsung hero of our success
Enough. This condescending agenda you have only reflects poorly on yourself and Bartlett. I have heard that Bartlett was putting undue private pressure on the coach over the summer in addition to the outburst of public pressure last year. He needed to go. Roffee needed to ensure that they was a culture of respect and care to get the most out of the club that had been smashed (as every club had) the past 2 years. We all acknowledge Bartlett’s role from where we were - now you and the other acolytes need to live up to the aura created around his tenure and get in line behind the new leader. Otherwise you risk defining his administration by the manner of the exit as opposed to the effort over the journey. Don’t create a schism - I know where the majority will sit.

Gruff the Crime Dog: “don’t get beat by what you know!” What if it’s too [censored] good, Kingy?

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
We have to remember to thank Cam Guthrie for kicking it out on the full in Rd 23, and then that Close kid for the 50. Gawn, Trac and Oliver took it from there. To Cam!

Darren Burgess Being Poached
Barrett bailed him up about it after the game - he said he recently made the decision after exploring all the options. And it was his best mate Greg Stafford who got him across! As the saying goes “it takes village to get the village to be able to have power running mids”…

Mitch Brown Signs on for 2022
These are Flag Window wide open type moves. Boring as F. Love it.
-
Majak Dawn set to sign on for 2022.
Him playing means that Gawn is injured but good on him that he is happy with that role.

Gosch's Paddock.
And support/coaching staff.

Farewell Aaron vandenBerg
Vanders was great and I am so happy for him he got that opportunity, his ankles couldn’t get him the platform to play consistent footy but wee done to him.

Farewell Aaron vandenBerg
No, have to have exit interviews and released by tomorrow. Players wanted a clean break. I doubt it would be a surprise to any of them.

Jeez, they need to rethink that award…
