Having a fantastic year and I desperately hope he chooses to re-sign with the club. Anyone provide speculation on the latest contract development?

Been updated to 20-60mm with 95% chance of rain. Expect one of Frost or O Mac to be dropped down back and possibly Dawes up forward.

I hear freo are putting together a massive package to try seal the Hogan deal. Its understood Mzungu, De Boar, Clancy Pearce and Zac Clark may all be in the mix. We'd have to throw in a sweetner to seal the deal.

We can't and won't beat St Kilda. They're just too good for us which is bizarre considering some of the rabble performances they've dished up under Richardson. Collingwood, GC, Carlton, freo are wins i think we're capable of. 9 wins total which would be a reasonable but not great result. For some reason I've had a gut feel we'd knock off the Crows all season but that's looking unlikely now.

Correct call re: Harmes. Apart from the easy wins over the QLD sides, his form has been terrible. Although he was excellent in our first meeting with the Pies.

I'd rather Frawley than Brayshaw and not because of his concussion issues. Frawley is an outstanding key defender who rarely has goals kicked on him. Players like him are worth their weight in gold. Especially given these days when our defenders are getting slaughtered by your Dixons and Joe Danihers of the world. I can only assume Frawley gave up on the Dees rather than the Dees giving up on Frawley.

I can't make sense of that bolded part about not wanting Frawley. I'm shattered we lost Frawley and his absence is going some way in costing us games of footy with our leaky defence. Frawley killed Hogan on the weekend, and I can't recall a game of where he's been defeated at Hawthorn.

Good. I'm quite frankly sick of hosting Port in front of 2,000 locals and automatically giving them a cheap 4 points. 1 NT game is plenty and play the other at the G where we might have a better chance of enhancing our core business- obtaining the 4 points. PJ can use his brilliant expertise in rectifying the opportunity cost (money forgone for the Alice game).

I find 1:10 is the best time slot. You're not waiting half the day for the game to start and you can be home well and truly before dinner

I don't think you can ever get suspended for wrestling. I think the penalty maxes out at $4,000. That's probably why Jones keeps 'flying the flag'.

Well for starters I reckon he made his first effective spoil in league footy. Some of his passages of play coming out of defence were good and I can see potential there.

The bye after round 23 is a disgrace and totally unnecessary. If North have top spot sown up before the last game, what's to stop them again resting half their side as they would have nothing to play for. As for the original question, it got announced 5/8/15 last year.
