  1. I'd focus on re-signing Brayshaw and T Mac first. Then Gaff comes after that.
  2. Surprised St Kilda have more members (500-1000) than us considering we've had more members than them the last 3 years, and also factoring in their horrid start to the season. We have 3,000 more members than North, who themselves have slipped a little over the last couple of years. The Dogs don't publish their number but I suspect their membership has shrunk since the 16-17 off season.
  3. One of the more impressively debuts I’ve seen from an MFC player. He reminds me of Gary Moorcroft with respect to his size and position.
  4. McCartney was definitely in the box during the Brisbane game. I can vividly recall him giving Goodwin an almighty death stare after we fell over the line, as the cameras captured it.
  5. Is this good or bad news? That's a lot of revenue that will need to be found else where.
  6. JKH is the quintessential list clogger. A 5 year player that's no where near round 1 selection.
  7. Until he consistently starts ripping apart the VFL (which you'd hope starts this year) he won't be getting too many games in the seniors. I'm assuming we passed up Charlie Curnow purely based on behavioral issues.
  8. Not sure he's as good as Rance but may have Damien Gaspar, Tom Gillies and James Seller covered.
  9. And those same fans will be screaming for 2 top 5 picks for Lever.
  10. If we traded Petracca for Lever and Lever ends up having the better career and we also retain our picks, then we'd win on that trade right?
  11. On the Sunday footy show, Barrett supremely confident we'll get Lever but it's going to cost us big time and we're not just talking salary cap.
  12. JKH for Lever. Hopefully Adelaide can throw in a sweetener to seal the deal.
  13. Well Carlton were willing to offer JFK a 3 year contract either last year or the year before, so perhaps Carlton will eventually get their man.
  14. Could Dom Tyson be in the mix here? Crows need more midfield options - albeit one that doesn't turn the ball over as much. And as others have mentioned, ANB could be a sweetener to a first round draft pick. Has he even signed for us next year?

  16. Indeed we were the away side in 06. However my post was that we haven't beaten North as the away team on a Saturday since 1991. yeah I know, I'm being a bit silly with these random useless facts.
  17. Here's another zinger: Melbourne have beaten North Melbourne as the away side twice since 1991. 1997 and 2006. EDIT - We also beat them in 2005 up in Manuka as the away side.
  18. We haven't beaten North in an away game on a Saturday since 1991. That day Jako kicked 11.8. I doubt half of the people on this forum were born back then.
  19. 1992, (WACA) 1995 (WACA), 1997 (WACA), 1999, 2011 and 2014
  20. We've never beaten West Coast at night in Perth.
  21. Before last Sunday, the last time we beat the Dogs at Etihad as an away game was round 2 2005. And it was the first time we beat them at Etihad on a Sunday as the away team since round 22 2001 (We did beat them on a Sunday as the home team in round 16 2004).
  22. I'd say Brent Harvey has had a fair bit to do with that. Last year he kicked 6 against us and in 2015 he was the difference as well. Waite and Higgins are the danger men this week.
