Hey Layz. I was walking through our local shopping centre today when a guy in an Oxfam bib walked up to me. Not to ask for money but to ask if I was from Glasgow as he saw the Rangers jacket I was wearing. He was from Belfast. We spoke about the usual stuff. Where back home we were from, how we ended up here, where can you get a decent pint of the black stuff etc. Another guy must have overheard us and came over to join the craic. He is from Longford on the other side of the border. It was all going well until one of them asked, "have you been watching the euros?". Almost simultaneously we all groaned and said how unbearable back home it would be for everyone if England actually won the thing. They will always think they are the centre of the universe.

Only just got home. Just wow. It was a pleasure to be at the ground to watch us tonight. Even giving up a few goals towards the end when I think Rick was off the ground doesn't take the shine off how well we played as a collective unit.

I don't think I've turned the tv on for three years or more. Like most on here it's Kayo for sports plus a dodgy online streaming service to watch European and NFL games that aren't being broadcast on Kayo, even though it's unreliable it's free. The content on mainstream commercial tv channels is rubbish.

I just saw the side we named and my first thought was that they're looking for Petts to be our main marking target around the ground to cover that aspect of Maxy's game. Whatever he can do for us at centre bounces will be a bonus. All contingent on his body holding up of course.

I agree with your latter observation Moonie but the window seats made for a lovely winters day sun trap on Sunday considering our seats up there are almost permanently in shade.

The new bar on level 2 of the northern stand now sells bahn mi rolls for $16 to go with their bland alcohol choices.

Stunning winters day. I think we’ll fall over the line and get the 4pts today. 🤞

I have heaps of second teams. Whoever is playing against Collingwood. Whoever is playing against Celtic. Whoever is playing against England. Whoever is playing against an NFC Central team that isn't the Packers.

I feel ya. We did the 24 hour cheer squad bus trip to Cararra and back to watch us lose by 5 points to the Bears in their second home game in the competition. Left an hour after the game for the return trip after we'd loaded the flags and poles back onboard and were using a huge plastic red surround that the poles slipped into at the time that weighed a ton and smelt awful. Some of your older travelling partners may remember it. I think we had Banana Bender Busters written on the front of the run through with the Ghostbusters symbol and a banana wearing sunglasses in place of the ghost 😂 Maybe I need to take it to a higher court of appeal and ask @Demonstone ?

Hey WCW. You'll probably know better than me but doesn't saying "we deserved to win" imply that you won? Or is it me that's got it wrong?? 😂
-
I think you can only say / write that you deserved to win something if you did actually win. Not if you lost but think you should have won. If we had won though I think we would have been a deserving winner.

Devastated. That was never a free kick as Nibbler was off balance. Our forward line fired blanks all through that last quarter again though and cost us the game. I think we've found a ripper in the Kolt.

Please get off Clarry's back. Show some respect!

All this online vitriol about Clarry’s weight. We need to stick fat people! -
I think this is great for the lad but geez we're going into the back end of the season with a very young and inexperienced side.

We've been pish for 30 years DubDee. Like your mob we trawl the lower reaches of the football league for players with scottish grannies. Now it's back to cheering for whoever plays England.
-
I think we still had more shots at goal in that last quarter than Scotland had in a whole tournament. 😩

Can't stand the bloke.

I reckon Rivaldo still has Maysie covered.

Just watched KB's jumper presentation video. How good was the emotional speech from his dad! Really fitting that he ended it with the words " I really hope you get to sing the song with these boys tonight" and thanks to his game saving run down tackle he did. Just!

Scrolling past a post you don't like or don't agree with must be one of the easiest things anyone can do. I'm surprised it hasn't proved more popular.

Plenty of one kick losses against the Roos over the years so I'll happily take the W tonight. Also because the next W might be a ways off.

I tend to visualise a place on how nice sounding it's name is only to find it's nothing like that in real life (eg the Canary Islands). St Albans sounds like the bucolic English commuter town it's named after but I live close enough to know that's not entirely accurate. On moving to Canterbury, in Kent a while back we went for a drive to Margate on Christmas Day to find a post apocalyptic seaside town housing refugees in run down terrace houses. It now has a Turner Contemporary gallery and a thriving creative and foodie scene though. Sittingbourne is a nice sounding place that is pretty horrible. Grimsby on the north east coast however is exactly as it say's on the tin.

To be fair you could praise an orangutan for it's intelligence if you sat it next to Robbo most nights.
