  1. As an emergency why is he in Melbourne?
  2. I think Shane McAdam is on a 3 year deal. One more to go.
  3. Jamie Clarrie Oliver's 15 minute meals.
  4. Or pineapples.
  5. For what it’s worth I was told yesterday that Clarry is living at Trac’s place at the moment.
  6. I’d like it to happen just to see Kane Cornes head explode.
  7. Does Goody have to sign for 7 years as part of the deal?
  8. Like everyone else on here I'm bemoaning the decision making and skill errors our most senior guys make at crucial times in a game. Perhaps it was just me but I thought that the pre-game stuff with ND seemed just a little more poignant than usual.
  9. I seem to remember Max giving Trac a spray after his injury in the game last year, or am I mistaken?
  10. Our last home game for a month. Let's hope the game isn't as dreich as the weather.
  11. To be fair both sides have turned over a lot of players and are now completely different basket cases to the ones they were three years ago.
  12. The construction work at the ground in Ballarat must be to put a roof on it I guess.
  13. North making plans for an open top bus parade along Errol St with their $2.5 mill cheque.
  14. Jon Ralph would make They Boy Who Cried Wolf blush.
  15. North could win this 21-20.
  16. Surprised how many people there are wearing North colours in the crowd. Maybe the Roos could become the third WA team and move lock, stock and barrel to Bunbury. Just need to find the $$$ to build the prerequisite roof over the ground.
  17. AFL cough Integrity Unit: Tanking for draft positions = bad. States buying opposition team home games = good.
  18. It's not meant as a derogatory comment Slartibartfast. I think he sits in the 24-27 bracket in our pecking order. We're fine for wingers and pressure forwards now with Lindsay, Langford, Lingers, Chin, Kolt and Spargs. I don't think he should be playing ahead of any them. Harry Sharp could be in the same bracket but has 7 years on him. He might be a head of Jack Henderson.
  19. His sweet spot is probably as an unused emergency in the senior side.
  20. If there's any wind there tonight it'll be to the direction we're currently kicking to.
  21. No chance. I'm at home watching TC.
  22. Can't imagine there being any more than two guys and a dog there tonight. Rain currently tanking it down where I'm at not far from the ground. Shame they couldn't have played it early in the afternoon.
  23. I'd have loved Brereton to have played for us at his peak. I remember Bob Skilton called him Bweeton when commentating so he wouldn't have to say Bweweton for two hours straight.
  24. Brown on brown? Hawks just love upping the ante when it comes to putrid guernseys. Is their designer colour blind?
  25. Irrespective of whether we continue to play one home game a season in the Alice or not, it doesn't look to me as if we're gaining any traction in the NT as a brand or gaining any rusted on supporters. Their allegiance up there tends to be towards the SA and WA sides and all of the red & blue merch handed out on the day just papers over that. I've been up to Darwin where we played for a few years and it was mostly a Crows crowd at the game. The club must know this. I think we're playing up there for the money. Pure and simple. The community outreach element is great but if the NT government told us tomorrow that they were halving their payment we'd be outta there.
