    Hoping Carlton get battered.

Just turned on Kayo and Sydney wearing the old South Melbourne guernsey with the black shorts look great. More so when compared to the bland nothingness of GC.

Very good BoBo. I think my favourite scots word might be glaikit. Scran is very north of England I think? From my time living down south I still call a curry a ruby and say yer man from my time in Ireland.
  4. It's a shame the old VFA couldn't survive in it's own right but from memory clubs found it too difficult to compete financially with country football leagues. I followed Springvale and used to occasionally go to Newcomen Road to watch games but also Prahran sometimes. The current set up is without doubt a dogs breakfast.

You get used to the constant revisionalism on these threads DD. I remember what might have been his last game for us against Richmond in an 'away' game towards the end of that season and he couldn't hit a coo's @rse with a banjo. Still, good luck to him.

Charlie Cameron will go goalless until he kicks seven against us.

It feels like they've worn a different guernsey in every game so far this year. The Belgian flag one is still to make an appearance though.
  9. Just turned on the full replay and they've crossed to the Melbourne rooms where Max, Lingers and Riv are playing keepy uppey with the round ball LOL.
  10. Just got home from the game. It was a horrible first half where we got almost no value from Max's dominance. In the third our midfield went to work and we blew them away. Another clinic from Max and Bowsa was terrific again. I asked for 4 points and no injuries pre-game and got it. Oh, and for those worried about our last quarter drop off it's cue not que.
  11. I just want 4 points and no injuries.
  12. Just read the article. There's a headline about some senior players meeting at Maxy's wine bar but 99% of it is just padding based on bits and pieces cobbled together from other stories over the last year. Even the meeting isn't elaborated on. He also stated that Trac declined an interview.
  13. I'm speechless.
  14. It seems to me that there's a sweet spot of one to two years where recently retired players in the media can be really good to listen to before they defer to their paymasters and crank up the innuendo and controversial comments. I bet he won't call it a stage managed stunt when he's next in the MMM studio with Max though.
  15. If Carlton and Essendon want more "home" games at the G then Monday through Wednesday night are free most weeks through the season.
  16. Which camp / lodge Deevout?

Is Frostie injured or just surplus to requirements now that the Hawks are a good side again?

Brad Close has a bit of a Gomez Addams look about him.

Hi Stu. Yeah, I thought both were horrible. The current Dockers one is much better but I would add mint green trim. Perhaps on the middle chevron. A mint green clash guernsey would look good too.

Just when you think Hawthorn have designed the worst jumper in history they come up with a even worse one. GC's new one is just such a nothing guernsey. I'm not a fan of having big stupid looking logos in the centre of them but having an invisible one is probably worse. Most of the post VFL teams have gone from eyesores to traditional styled ones eventually. Think Power, Dockers and the Brisbane Bears. GWS and GC will probably do the same eventually.
  22. Quality not quantity LH 😉

    Should've included a sunset clause.
  24. That's some expensive ballast.
