Farewell Christian Petracca
Hi LH. When he first tried to get out I still think he would have bitten your hand off to get to Collingwood. Some people on here have said that at some point later it became more important to get out of Melbourne, the city, for reasons other than just football and I think that's when the likes of Adelaide and GC came into the picture. The bottom line is none of us really know though.

With the ego he has Iโll take the fact that heโll see out his remaining years in a footballing backwater playing in front of 8k every second week (no way was there 19k there last night) as a win for us.

They've only mentioned he's a Norm Smith medallist 73 times so far.

Cameras keep going to the same single bay of GC supporters when they score a goal.

LOL. The ground is empty and half the people there are probably Geelong supporters.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Depending on how he conducts himself between now and retirement I can see him being welcomed back post career. His boofhead mate at GC less so.- Farewell James Harmes
As soon as I heard about his retirement a mate and I both said to each other almost simultaneously, three strikes.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Each time he opens his mouth you can sense that he hasn't really got over the fact we punted him.- NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
But the AFL spin machine said all four games were sell outs. They'd give Fox (cough) News a run for their money.- Tasmanian AFL Team
The logo part is too messy and is hard to work out what it is. Just go with the colours. No need for a big stupid logo in the middle of a jumper. There's too many of those on guernseys already.- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
When we trained at the MCG the centre square would be roped off. Players trained after work and the only illumination when it got dark was the half a dozen or so single lights perched on the roof of the old Southern Stand. During summer we trained on Scotch Oval which is now buried under Melbourne Park. I know it's OUR home ground but it's not like we own the place.- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
I used to live near VFL Park and always saw it as a soulless windswept dump but it won't be me that has to drive down there to work. If we did move our training base I'd miss getting down to Gosch's a couple of times a year to see the boys train on public holidays. It's lovely on a sunny autumn day.- Awaken Your Demon in 2026
I like the latest promo. I wonder where it gets shown. Is it just for members or the wider public? I think I'm on record already as saying I have no issue with No.31 posting on our site.- 2026 Predictions
I have NFI how many wins we'll get.- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
The only thing they'll say is that they can't say anything.- NON-MFC: 2026 Practice Matches Week 02
Just turned on the latest game and caught the last few minutes of the first half. The inverted Essendon jumper looks much better than their regular one, I think. It doesn't make them any more likeable however.- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Richmond
Early days but I don't think we're missing the two heavy anchors weighing us down last year.- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Richmond
Geez our kit and colours are so nice. Easily the best in the comp.- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Richmond
Commentary team on Kayo hasn't even mentioned Luker since he went off. No injury update.- Greg Stafford departs Melbourne
Maybe he'll be their forwards coach too.- POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
I think Manchester Melbourne City moved their entire footballing operation there from their original Bundoora complex as well WW.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
At the very least the FIFA Brownlow.- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
