I doubt I will change anyone’s mind but I think Bucks was a Melbourne supporter growing up.

I feel flat. Was super busy at work and if not for a friend calling early this morning with the news wouldn't have known until I'd finished for the day. I'd have preferred us to see out his contract and then mutually agree not to renew if next year turned out to be another disappointment. From what I've read I don't think I want to watch his presser. Not yet anyway.

I think BP5 only stays if he sees himself winning at least another flag with us. If he were to move on however does anyone really see Hawthorn taking on the final four years of his contract? Anyone that hits thirty at that place are usually year by year propositions. It will definitely be to a side in regular contention though.

Aside from the paragraph posted above it's mostly to do with spreading ourselves too thin in off field roles with examples of too many people wearing multiple hats together with our new CEO and President not yet being in place and the club treading water as a result. Not much that we didn't know or suspect ourselves really.

Maybe Jai has a large extended family and a lot of friends that will help fill some of the many empty seats tomorrow.

Sunday’s debacle has made it embarrassing to follow Melbourne again or wear our colours. To me that is almost unforgivable and a blight on the people that run our club and pull on the jumper each week.

What a bizarre game. We played with so much speed and dare for three quarters with Max giving Marshall a bath. Then, our midfield just stopped. Our on field leaders need to carry the can for a lot of that last quarter. Particularly the debacle at the end.

Max is MFC royalty and arguably the greatest club ambassador we've ever had. For anyone to pot him about his latest appearance on TV is frankly laughable. He reminds me on a bloke a lot of you won't know called Ally McCoist who even Celtic supporters grudgingly have a soft spot for.
