I'll see your Neil Warnock and raise you a Harry Redknapp.- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Sam Allardyce.- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I doubt I will change anyone’s mind but I think Bucks was a Melbourne supporter growing up.- How you doing?
I feel flat. Was super busy at work and if not for a friend calling early this morning with the news wouldn't have known until I'd finished for the day. I'd have preferred us to see out his contract and then mutually agree not to renew if next year turned out to be another disappointment. From what I've read I don't think I want to watch his presser. Not yet anyway.- PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
My favourite Thunderbird.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I think BP5 only stays if he sees himself winning at least another flag with us. If he were to move on however does anyone really see Hawthorn taking on the final four years of his contract? Anyone that hits thirty at that place are usually year by year propositions. It will definitely be to a side in regular contention though.- Caroline Wilson’s article 2 August 2025
MFC off field staff walk and chew gum at same time. Shock horror.- POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
16k today with no MCC and our poor run of recent results was better than I was expecting.- Caroline Wilson’s article 2 August 2025
Wasn't Shannon Byrnes our player welfare office and match day runner when we won a flag? Not sure what the issue is here.- GAMEDAY: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Watching our recent games has felt like poring through a rubbish tip looking for something of value. I don't expect today to be any different.- GAMEDAY: Rd 21 vs West Coast
They could've played this at Goschs. Supposed to be a nice day after the mist has burned off.- Caroline Wilson’s article 2 August 2025
Aside from the paragraph posted above it's mostly to do with spreading ourselves too thin in off field roles with examples of too many people wearing multiple hats together with our new CEO and President not yet being in place and the club treading water as a result. Not much that we didn't know or suspect ourselves really.- Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
Maybe Jai has a large extended family and a lot of friends that will help fill some of the many empty seats tomorrow.- Brad Greens letter to members
Sunday’s debacle has made it embarrassing to follow Melbourne again or wear our colours. To me that is almost unforgivable and a blight on the people that run our club and pull on the jumper each week.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Work colleague: What happened to the Dees yesterday? Me:- PREGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Care factor zero.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
What a bizarre game. We played with so much speed and dare for three quarters with Max giving Marshall a bath. Then, our midfield just stopped. Our on field leaders need to carry the can for a lot of that last quarter. Particularly the debacle at the end.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Only four more train wrecks to go. We can get through this, people.- NON-MFC: Round 20
Love it. Like yesteryear, when you wrote what you wanted. I’d have doubled down this time. A blank run through is just conceding defeat.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Another game? Seriously?- PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
I’m pretty much past caring who we pick and who we drop.- Joe Daniher
- Max on the Front Bar
Max is MFC royalty and arguably the greatest club ambassador we've ever had. For anyone to pot him about his latest appearance on TV is frankly laughable. He reminds me on a bloke a lot of you won't know called Ally McCoist who even Celtic supporters grudgingly have a soft spot for.- May to Tribunal
