CASEY: Rd 10 vs Sydney Swans
A pre-game refreshment at the Victoria Hotel or Mona Castle followed by the chance to see our cough twin towers up front on the big stage of Whitten Oval.

CASEY: Rd 10 vs Sydney Swans
Do we really play C’wood in the VFL at Whitten Oval next Saturday night? Strange venue and time if so.

NON-MFC: Round 12
If we had a thread titled How The Hell Did We Lose To This Lot (2025)? we could probably add the Hawks to it.

Maynard unscathed
I read The Age article online and left my thoughts in the comments section under it. Hopefully it will get past their sensors. Update: Just had a look and don't think it has but a couple of Collingwood scumbags did claiming the [censored] did nothing wrong.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Yeah, I saw that when fast forwarding the replay to the post-game interviews after I got home. He only left for better job security. Life is too short to be spending it in Casey.

Jordan Lewis
I'd love this to be true, Dingo. I think since he left us though he's started connecting more with his original side, unfortunately. Maybe it's to do with all of the premiership reunions they're always having. I believe two of his four boys are rusted on Dees however which I love. He'd be great as a coach or strategist if we could prize him away from Fox.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
I think AJ is what the team needs right now so I'm happy for him to be in the side. Kozzie's acceleration from a standing start is ridiculous. As for Maximus I'm going to savour every moment this guy pulls on our jumper as we'll probably never see anyone like him again.

What are they saying at Moore Park?
I haven't been to the SCG since they had the grassy hill behind the goals and only Perth once when we kicked 2 goals 8 and got belted in the opening game of the season. Was at Carrara for our first ever game against the Bears when we lost by 5 points but not since and have never been to the Gabba. Spent 24 hours in Darwin to see Weeds [censored] the bed 15 metres out directly in front and cost us a win. Made my first visit to Adelaide Oval recently for a win against the Crows and have been to Hobart a few times now.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
I didn't notice him until he coughed up the ball for one of our goals in the last quarter. At least he's getting a game every week now I guess.

GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs Sydney
If anyone is ever looking for a good pre-game meal the Builders Arms does a lovely 1/2kg of mussels washed down with a Guinness. Get in early for a table. Lots of Swans supporters today though.

GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Swans have a very good record again us down here. This one will come down to whoever wants it more I think. Either way it’s another glorious autumnal day for a game of football. I’d have preferred the 1.20pm start time though given the choice.

NON-MFC: Round 11
I was just thinking the same thing DD. Always seems to be the absolute minimum nod towards SDNR.

Did the Hawthorn bench just hold up a painting?

Hypotheticals on Tasmania entry concessions
I've been to a few games down there and on my last visit walked around where the ground is going to be built. It's location is just outside the southern edge of the CBD and harbour so dead easy to get to for anyone that owns a pair of legs. Has to be a million % better than the current option that requires a twice daily footy special ferry or taxi ride to get to and from.

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
WTF? Disappointed in this. T-Mac has been great down back this year.

This just popped up in my youtube feed. Never seen it before.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Brisbane
I thought that happened after he broke loose for his goal in the 2nd quarter not when he dump kicked the ball out of play? By the way thanks to Daz for watching that tripe so the rest of us don't have to.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Brisbane
As we're currently in the midst of the two Sir Doug Nicholls rounds I have a question somebody could maybe answer. At the start of the live telecasts on Fox / Kayo they pay their respects to elders past and present. I'm pretty sure it was a common thing to pay respects to elders past, present and future / emerging. Any reason for the change?

The Buddies? Very good. They have a very physical side right now. Aidan Johnson wouldn't look out of place up front or as a central defender. You don't like the weather but you're coming back to Melbourne in July? The south east corner of England gets really good summers so you could always flit down there. Embra is a lovely city to live in though. Absolutely dripping in history. Do they still do the torchlight procession up to Calton Hill around Hogmanay when they burn a viking longship?
