CASEY: Rd 01 vs Footscray VFL
You make it sound like you have to cross the Nullarbor to get here TC ๐ I guess for a lot of people anything over the Westgate Bridge is pretty much terra nullius. As for the grub on this side of town we definitely are spoiled for choice. Just locally there's a polish deli around the corner and there used to be a persian cafe nearby. My pick though would be Dumbo in Wefo (West Footscray). Especially at this time of year sitting outside in the sun sipping on a mont blanc.

PREGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
I think they're both named as emergencies so should be on the plane with the rest of the side.

CASEY: Rd 01 vs Footscray VFL
Sims IGA is just a couple of blocks west of the ground on Barkly St and a block further the Inner West Swedish Bakery does a mean Pork, Licorice & Shiraz sausage roll and coffee ๐

TRAINING: Thursday 19th March 2026
Nah. If itโs spring break heโs more likely to be in Cancun with his 17 year old girlfriend.

Jim's Game is back!
I hope they have Guinness on tap for the game. I'm all for the dancers too but I'm drawing the line at wearing green.

Club Emblem
Yeah nah. Leave it as it currently is.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Just started to watch the replay on Kayo and in the pre-game interview Ross Lyon called Lingers Little Lord Fauntleroy ๐

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Unlike Braydon Maynard who is a right James Blunt. Why is everyone's quotes being duplicated in their replies?

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
There was also a lasso paid to them off a kick that Lingers had touched on the members wing. I could hear the thud as it was touched from the second deck of the Olympic stand.

It looked like it was made out of bin liners.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
A perfect autumn day. From the beef cheek & ale pie and pale ales at the North Fitzroy Arms to the near empty Metro train home from Town Hall station. And Maxy! Every game day should be this good.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Looks like another "sell-out" on the Goldie. Couldn't be more than 5k inside the ground.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
No BP5. No Claz. No Problem!

NON-MFC: Round 01
Swans well on their way to another Grand Final smashing.

Maybe the MRC should stick to what they do best. Exploit animals.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Bay City Rollers The Blue Nile Incredible String Band LOL. Bay City Rollers! Maybe Bye Bye Baby in ode to BP5 and Claz? I'd be looking at the likes of KT Tunstall, King Creosote or Belle & Sebastian.

2026 Goal Songs Revealed
Had they not been punted BP5 & Claz surely would've gone with We've Got To Get Out Of This Place by The Angels.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
T-Mac stuck on 249 games and no milestone interview from the club suggests that he won't be in the final game day side. Ghosty and her crew would also surely have been give a heads up about this for the run through. 14 studio albums and a recent EP yet not one U2 track? Sheesh.

Bayley Fritsch Contract Talks
Sign him on a 7 year deal. If only to see Kane Cornes' head explode.

The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
If we could first demolish Gosch's rendering it unusable to both Richmond and Collingwood I'd feel better about the move.

NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
Why indeed. There could have been an afternoon game at the G and a night game at Docklands and North could have played one of their home WA games.

NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
If half the comp are now playing on OR how long before everyone else is as well and it just becomes another round?

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Jesus. Are we still arguing the toss over these two. They both had really good games that they can be happy with yesterday. For various reasons however they both had to be punted from the MFC. They get to strut their stuff but off broadway. Out of sight out of mind.

NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
It may have taken a gazilion dollars and 700 1st round draft picks but the league's two plastic implants finally look the goods.

NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
Not too bad a crowd at this game. Around 10k I'd say. Otherwise known as a sell out in AFL parlance.
