  1. Not to worry WCW Hermannsburg has some historical significance it was set up by a Dutch religious group and had involvement in teaching and training indigenous children also for recording and translating indigenous words and places as the aboriginal people have 100’s of different dialects but no written language. So their work is quite significant.😁
  2. Wahooo we have all been anticipating the launch of the Kolt, so glad it is at the G tomorrow night so we can witness him Debut. Congratulations young man enjoy your first game with the Dees. Go the Esperance Kolt, how happy was Jack Viney.!!
  3. True ElDiablo 14, Jim was a unique and unifying giant of a man who held us together until Peter Jackson, Paul Roos and eventually Simon Goodwin and the team they built put it all together for us.
  4. Hi George OTO the latest number has been posted on Membership page. 56,756 so we are level pegging with 2022 numbers. Also interesting that during our horror stretch 2007 - 2014 our Membership actually increased from 27k to 36k so a lot of us stayed true when it was very hard to do so.😁
  5. Thanks Andy, Bin & George OTO and all posters / callers another great listen, all questions full and entertainingly answered with extra great insights thrown in. Very relaxed and upbeat and why not, the team performed magnificently. Apart from round zero the team is playing so well, I am enjoying watching them perform but can’t quite work out what the change in game plan is, we seem to be able to switch it up against every team.
  6. Thanks Demon Dynasty I can relax now and yes the medical team have to find a way to fix Clayton’s hand but probably don’t want to put him on ice as he doesn’t cope well being out of his game routine. It is a bloody tough one.
  7. Thanks DD fantastic effort to get these stats up so quickly, what a fabulous result for Judd McVee, Tracc is in Brownlow form, Max and Steven May unbelievable, JV, Sparrow and Chandler helping Tracc cover for Clayton playing injured. Windsor is playing like an No.1 pick. Overall a great team effort and a great team result. Also the Demonland Votes were all on the money.
  8. Thanks Demonland, Kev, WCW and all poster’s greatly appreciated.
  9. Agree SWYL it was nice to see him walking the full length of AO with Goody and Max on Thursday night and then in the rooms talking casually with the players, he’s doing a great job.
  10. Thanks DD hope you had a great time in Bowral, the Beechworth Bakery sounds mouth watering as well. Enjoy the rest of your trip home. All good down this way the two wins in 5 days has really made the weekend very very enjoyable indeed.!!
  11. Hi DD just checking to make sure that you ar ok, I always look forward to your individual player stats for our team.😁😁😁
  12. Hope your wrong Sydee the club have a bit more confidence and have contracted him through to ‘26 to fully develop.
  13. Agree Ed Langdon is building nicely in ‘24, still our best overall runner who plays his role and is not always rewarded with disposals for his efforts but that will increase as his team mates confidence in him grows. My only criticism is with his marking around the ground and that should improve now that we have additional better kickers in the side.
  14. G t G I would never ever say Shirked in reference to Clayton Oliver, I would use Avoided a severe collision.!!
  15. Even though I thought Mayzies selection was a bit contentious and coming off a 5 day break I felt that we had the Crows measure and after watching the last half several times I feel we probably should have won by more. Ours was a total team effort, defence lead by Steven was excellent, pressure was immense, we have a tough, well drilled team that trusts each other. Tracc, Max, a banged up Clayton an ill Jack an improving Sparrow a feisty Kozzie backed up by Chin and ANB who received a lot of opposition attention were simply better. When you throw in our younger brigade the freakish Judd McVee, the electric Duke of Windsor, the tough unflinching JVR and the confidence building Blake Howes we have improved our team. Add in Rick, Riv, Salo, Lingers, Fritta, TMac, BB, Petty, Billings and an emerging Taj Woewodin we have a great spread of experience and youth. I loved that 3rd quarter where we won the game.
  16. I spent a lot of time at my Grandma’s farm in SA during May or Sept holidays and my Uncle Butch would always take us to the Truro Market he loved the German metwurst and Fritz, we would have it on toast with homemade chutney and lunch as a sandwich with lettuce tomato and cucumber salad. It was far superior to anything made back in Vic. My holidays on the farm are the best memories a kid could have, free range eggs, fresh milk and cream, lots of lamb and bacon, riding on the tractor, sheep dogs, etc. a little glass of port each night after playing 500 or Eucre before bedtime each night.!!
  17. I don’t think so Demonstrrative I think that only applied to JJ because he was drafted and then put on the Rookie List, once he was elevated back to senior list ha became UFA at the end of his contract.
  18. Thanks WJ agree KFW isn’t helping his cause at all, he is a great size but seems to lack intensity and footy IQ.😪
  19. 6 - Tracc attack 5 - Max 4 - Steven “how tough” May 3 - Judd McVee 2 - Tom Sparrow 1 - The Duke how cool for an 18 yo Another VG team effort where everyone chipped in when required, never give in.
  20. I’m thinking more semi- nomadic we always have Casey Fields to fall back on and that venue is far superior to the old Junction Oval.😁😁
  21. Is there anyone that you like WJ?
  22. Hmmmn why not incorporate an outdoor garden centre with Cafe that sells excellent coffee brunch and puppy chino’s. They are always packed out and will lower resistance. Lol.!!
  23. Agree with all previous comments and feel that Kade, Alex and Kozzie are our wild cards that help open up the game for Clayton, Tracc, Jack and Spaz and I can see Lingers, Billings and the Duke helping to create more space and opportunities as our mids run more forward of the ball. I think Kade has replaced Spargs to a degree, but good to have him up our sleeve.
