Time to start a rebuild?
That is true Macca but fortunately we donāt need to turn over 30 players now, we turned over or retired 8 last year and possibly need to retire or turn over another 8-10 this year. We need a KPD, a KPF a Ruck and another Sml Fwd plus quality depth. Then rinse and repeat each subsequent year.

Time to start a rebuild?
Try and remember Bluey and everyone else wanting to give away or suggesting that we actually pay the salary of our top end players, get a grip it is round 3. They are coming back from a multitude of issues that may take 6-8 games to iron the bugs out. Oliver is playing so much better than last year, Tracc needs some match fitness and belief, they will all play better as we get all our young guns back out on the park and they rekindle the spark. We just need to keep adding quality each year and replace those that arenāt up for the Fight. We all need to be up for the Fight and get behind the club. 2024 is Over!!!!!

TRAINING: Monday 31st March 2025
Strange that all the players mentioned that it was a gruelling preseason and that they were feeling really fit. All players have their own individual programs based on the number of sessions completed and our fitness team have a much much better idea of individual and team fitness.šš³

MEMBERSHIP TALLY 2025
Iām not really surprised BBP we were in the Press for all the wrong reasons all year long, even on Demonland it reached fever pitch. That type of bad press really hurts the newbie supporters and we now appear to have lost half of our 2021-2023 gains. Plus our start is the worst since 2019, injuries and having trouble implementing a new game plan seems to have sapped the players confidence. I preferred the team first defensive game plan then try to merge the changes over a full season??

Harvey Langford Rising Star nomination Rd 3
Rising Star in his first full game The Bison is showing us all just what we hoped he would. Bravo Harvey Langford. ā

Stats File - 2025 edition
That was a better effort DD we had 7 of the top 14 players lead by Bowey ( brilliant effort), Clarry followed by Langfordš¦¬š„, Langdon & TMac. Their three dominators Rowell, Miller & Anderson killed us in the midfield. Canāt wait to see Langford, Windsor, Lindsay and Tholstrup in the same team. Max was excepting R1 but has really dropped off in R2-3, we are missing his dominance and marking power around the ground.

Xavier Lindsay Update?
That is fabulous news for XL and the club, as I mentioned earlier it was a real downer yesterday at the ground to lose him so early.šš

PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
I am looking forward to seeing the team run out tomorrow we are all going to give the boys some support and to be honest I really love rocking up to the G with my daughters and two grandkids. I have always loved watching the young brigade the atmosphere having the Demon Army revving up the players and the skittish crowd, we have a boisterous group around us who get right into it particularly when we scent a win.š

PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
I also like the ins this week bad luck for Spargs but thought he was lucky to get a call up last week, Disco and Howes just didnāt get involved enough (wake up boys) and Woey lacked awareness and skill, bit sad i really want him to succeed. Langford should have played last week, he is quality and you just know he will be a great player given the opportunity.

New coach prospects
For all the Coaches must go folk who are nominating this person or that person, just a little Ryder on all this mass disappointment phenomenon - are any of you Wealthy, like able to stump up two years salary to pay out a Premiership Coach because you are all over him and want him gone. Maybe you can pool your funds and make him an offer that he canāt refuse. If not maybe itās time to have a reality check. Just saying.

Goody on Unfiltered
Stretching a long bow there Dazzle your views on Simon are very heavily slanted against him, no one outside the FD know what shenanigans went on late ā23 - early ā24.
-
Goody on Unfiltered
But we really only had three internal issues at the end of ā23, No.13,29, Gus and of course a chronically injured No.50. Club wasnāt allowed to mention 29 and 13 couldnāt be openly discussed. What are you referring to exactly?

sorry BBTD I attended all home games and finals in 2022-2023 we had excellent home series in both years, in 2022 we ran out of forwards due to injury and in 2023 we lost Gus then kicked ourselves out of the final against the Blues, what are you getting at??? Thanks Demonland I watched it last night and was aware that it was pre-taped and even though I knew he was going to cop it big time for our last quarter, I still enjoyed the watch. Hamish is a much better interviewer than Gazza who gushes over you when things are going well and iceās you out when they are not. I must admit that Simon is looking very vulnerable at present and Iām hoping that the playing group step up to support him.

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Agree wwsw heās a forward pocket specialist with a license to roam up the ground then get out the back, I would throw Langford the high half forward role he is a good mark, has good footy IQ and is a damaging kick. Give the Bison the role to make his own. Fritta has been cruellād by injury over past couple of years, letās get him back to what he does best, play with freedom and kick goals.

The Next CEO
PJ will go down in history as a true saviour of the MFC why would he risk his magnificent reputation. They donāt grow on trees but there will be one out there that has the steel and intelligence to reenergise the club and get us back on an upward trajectory. My fear is that we rush the decision and get someone who takes us back down the slippery slope of irrelevance. We have to get this right.
