Trade Targets
Tracc is currently 26th & Clayton is 39th for total disposals so far this year and they are both coming off injuries, Tracc is also 4th in Score involvements 114, Tracc 62 tackles, Claz 80 tackles and Salem is 4th for Marks in the league. No one else bar Max is even close. Re you solely basing your opinions on points scored??

Stats File - 2025 edition
I think that one of the reasons that we stayed in the game was the way the team was utilised to nullify their teams advantages and that included Riv, Langford, Chandler and Sparrow playing their roles. Besides we got plenty of the ball, they were more efficient. I considered that our coaches initially seized the initiative and then readjusted the side after half time to stay right in the game until the dying minutes and who knows what May have happened if the non goal wasn’t paid their way at a very crucial time in the game. Tracc, Clayton and JV all played their role just poor finishing let us down.

CASEY: Rd 15 vs Coburg
Agree NC why isn’t he playing in the fwd line and using his 199cm to mark or bring the ball to ground, feels like he is being wasted.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
If you go back and watch the first half you will see that we played in a similar manner to our game V Dockers, lots of short passes, playing on quickly and taking their tall marking players out of the game. It worked really well just let ourselves down in kicking for goal. Crows coach said they had to make a number of structural changes to get them back in the game. Crows and Dockers have plenty of tall excellent marking options that are hard to nullify, they got back the momentum half way through the 2nd then we had to adjust our game plan in the 2nd half to stay with them, Which we did.

CASEY: Rd 15 vs Coburg
DiscoStu17, I think that JvR is our No.2 and Petty will hold down No.1 until we find a suitable replacement, so Jeffo could be developed as our No.3 to let him find his feet and add the extra height in the forward line. Who knows Kentfield may be well and truly ready in 2026 to add to the mix. Has Jed Adam’s ever played forward? Just thinking out loud but Verrall needs to be developed as a fwd/ruck as well. Interesting six months ahead I believe.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
I know that we kicked poorly in the first and I wasn’t expecting a win over there but we were right in the game, we bought intent and a hard edge to the game, I started to think we could win this. In the second we took control of the game and could have been a lot further ahead with a little bit of luck. They on the other hand started to get their hands on the ball and had a lot of luck plus their big loud booing crowd egging them on. The game ebbed and flowed, Max and Rick both received heavy hits that slowed them down, Disco had his eye split and both sides started making pressure related mistakes particularly with their handballing and field kicks. They deserved the win But it could just as easily have been ours, had we taken our chances. I was on my phone following the Casey game at the same time so it was two close games that got away from us within a couple of hours. Very disappointing indeed, however we are not far off the pace and hopefully if we maintain this level of endeavour we can win a few on the run home.

6 - Steven May 5 - Jack Viney 4 - Daniel Turner 3 - Kozzie Pickett 2 - Jake Bowey 1 - Jake Melksham 4.1 kept us in it. Then Langdon, Salem, Rivers & Gawn Great team effort, the boys played their hearts out in front of a very hostile booing bunch of fools.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
They are playing good team footy, they are hard at it and relentless, We will need to bring out very best today and try and nullify their playmakers whilst kicking straight. As previously mentioned looking forward to seeing our younger brigade earn their spots and contribute but if we are to be any chance we need all our older group to really come out of the blocks hard and play with real intent for the full four quarters. Go Dees.

Time to go Goody?
Which I have never witnessed at any of our home games over the last nine years. Sometimes the other team is just to good for us, when I look at other teams there are at least 6-7 sides that actually outclass us and we need everything going our way to beat them especially kicking straight. Since round 6 we have been getting our share of inside 50’s just not making the most of them.

Ha ha so true I always considered Damo a lightweight in the media and never understood the attraction or how he wormed his way onto these panels.👍😁

Welcome to Demonland: Oscar Berry
From his coaches notes at North Florida Ospreys he is 6’5” and 205 lb, similar size to Rick and Disco. Competive passion and determination not only stems from his basketball background but in his Australian Rules Football days. Oscar is a Marketing Graduate and is planning a Masters in Marketing. Seems like a self driven young man that could fill a hole at Dees.
