  1. So true ET get him signed up the rest will take care of itself, he has had a huge 2 years and will only keep on improving. When you add in Salem, Bowey, Lindsay, Windsor, McVee, Rivers, Langdon, Billings and hopefully AMW we have our sml / medium backs and wings covered.πŸ‘πŸ˜

That is so relevant Little Goffy they all went missing when we needed them most.😒

Thanks DD not bad for our first real hit out with six debutantes but looking forward to a bit of a lift from our more recognised players against Roos. XL exceptional first up game, Giants are a very skilled outfit and showed why they are highly fancied, their work ethic is high and they know how to make space for each other but still felt that we were a bit stiff.
  4. Just out of curiosity KC and Demonland did we recruit any tall timber in the off season apart from TJ at Casey or is TC and Will Verrall all we have as ruck stock??
  5. Thanks Ghostwriter, Kev Martin, Harvey Wallbanger and all posters and special comments. Light run Tuesday, great to see everyone fit and healthy apart from AJ (suspension) and the Duke with that foot issue flaring up again, I hope they get that infection under control asap a fit Windsor is key to our future success and I want to see Langford play a full game this week.πŸ‘πŸ˜
  6. Macca Turner is ready to go.
  7. Not to mention the GWS defenders hands in his face supposedly spoiling the ball.🎱

XL was surprisingly good, 22 touches, 3 marks and 6 tackles on debut was sublime.πŸ‘πŸ˜

And Judd McVee Dazzle we miss his safe hands as well. I thought that we had the better of GWS all day but they have some elite talent that just got them over the line today, Toby Greene, Cognillio and Whitfield to name three and we really missed Max in that last quarter. We loved the game just hated that last agonising minute.

My daughter and I were both yelling get back on the goal line, time and time again and Binman is right Cognillio won the game for them through our poor defensive structure.

6 - Max Gawn really missed him when he was rested 5 - Christian Salem (Please stay fit) 4 - Christian Petracca (Blew out the cobwebs today) 3 - Tom Sparrow ( Played how we have been expecting today) 2 - Harrison Petty (Stay back Harry) 1 - X Lindsay (Great debut) TMac, Riv, Rick and Bowey honourable mentions.
  12. Yes agree hellainta………..,tobe plenty of noise up in N8-9 and the Irish lasses doing their dance every time we kicked a goal really got the crowd behind them and the Demon Army were very spirited as well, I thought that we could hold on but not to be sadly. The boys stood up just couldn’t hang on.πŸ˜ͺ😒
  13. Thanks Ghostwriter, Kev Martin, Harvey Wallbanger and all posters and special comments, good to hear everyone in good spirits and humour. Big day tomorrow particularly with 6 debutantes, I wish them all the best and I am looking forward to seeing them all run out onto the G Tomorrow. Go Dees.β€οΈπŸ’™
  14. Bayley Fritsch is a MFC Legend, he was hindered by injury in 23-24, let’s all hope that Fritta can get back to his β€˜21 form where he nailed 59.24 from 190 kicks. If Rooey, Kozzie and one of Turner, AJ or Jeffo fire up Fritta will be back in his true element. Throw in Chin, Sharpe, Langford, Windsor, Langdon and Tracc, who knows how exciting it could get.πŸ‘πŸ˜

It’s probably been mentioned previously but that last goal celebration was quite exhilarating outdoing the hockboys efforts.

And in a Lexus if you don’t mind. lol.!!!
  17. Welcome back Mark Jamar who can forget that year when he and Brent Moloney killed it in the midfield. He also made Max work extra hard to finally take the No.1 ruck berth off him. Very happy with this appointment.
  18. A big thanks to Ghostwriter, Harvey Wallbanger, Kev Martin and all posters and special comments, a real shame about Jai Culley. I was looking forward to reading the Casey match reports, etc.
  19. It’s all a game, try not to get caught up in it all. People have ups and downs, mood swings, want to share not want to share, etc. I don’t share with anyone not on Demonland. lol.!!!πŸ˜‚
  20. Langford, Windsor, Lindsay and Tholstrup are our future, I think Windsor and Langford are closer to the pin than XL and Kolt from a fitness point of view but I reckon the club have high expectations for these Four.
  21. Thanks WJ and KC some very good changes there for both Dees and Casey, looking forward to very competitive teams in β€˜25.
  22. Thanks Redlegs23 and Ghostwriter for relayed friends report, great reports with lots of detail, I can’t wait for next Sunday’s game.πŸ˜πŸ‘

Looking back to the last Gold Coast game our forwards performed rather well, we got some clean ball into the fwd50 Rooey lead to the right and Disco lead straight out with Petty just behind him splitting up their backs, worked well. The coaches work on building expectations and belief, we have the cattle, even a Bison, we are a week out from the start of 2025. Time for us supporters to stop handwringing and looking in the rear view mirror, it’s time to strap yourself in for a hell ov a ride in 2025. Go Dees.β€οΈπŸ’™πŸ‘
