  1. Bayley Fritsch is a MFC Legend, he was hindered by injury in 23-24, letโ€™s all hope that Fritta can get back to his โ€˜21 form where he nailed 59.24 from 190 kicks. If Rooey, Kozzie and one of Turner, AJ or Jeffo fire up Fritta will be back in his true element. Throw in Chin, Sharpe, Langford, Windsor, Langdon and Tracc, who knows how exciting it could get.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

Itโ€™s probably been mentioned previously but that last goal celebration was quite exhilarating outdoing the hockboys efforts.

And in a Lexus if you donโ€™t mind. lol.!!!
  4. Welcome back Mark Jamar who can forget that year when he and Brent Moloney killed it in the midfield. He also made Max work extra hard to finally take the No.1 ruck berth off him. Very happy with this appointment.
  5. A big thanks to Ghostwriter, Harvey Wallbanger, Kev Martin and all posters and special comments, a real shame about Jai Culley. I was looking forward to reading the Casey match reports, etc.
  6. Itโ€™s all a game, try not to get caught up in it all. People have ups and downs, mood swings, want to share not want to share, etc. I donโ€™t share with anyone not on Demonland. lol.!!!๐Ÿ˜‚
  7. Langford, Windsor, Lindsay and Tholstrup are our future, I think Windsor and Langford are closer to the pin than XL and Kolt from a fitness point of view but I reckon the club have high expectations for these Four.
  8. Thanks WJ and KC some very good changes there for both Dees and Casey, looking forward to very competitive teams in โ€˜25.
  9. Thanks Redlegs23 and Ghostwriter for relayed friends report, great reports with lots of detail, I canโ€™t wait for next Sundayโ€™s game.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Looking back to the last Gold Coast game our forwards performed rather well, we got some clean ball into the fwd50 Rooey lead to the right and Disco lead straight out with Petty just behind him splitting up their backs, worked well. The coaches work on building expectations and belief, we have the cattle, even a Bison, we are a week out from the start of 2025. Time for us supporters to stop handwringing and looking in the rear view mirror, itโ€™s time to strap yourself in for a hell ov a ride in 2025. Go Dees.โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘

Didnโ€™t really fill me with confidence.๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Funny but by the end of 2024 I only watched the Front Bar. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
  13. I love this inside stuff, their reactions who talks and moves when they are focussed and how they show care for one another, Gold.

I know this is a Fwd Line thread but Iโ€™ll tell you what I believe is a huge improvement on last year, our Midfield setup is looking far superior now that Jones and Radford have taken control. Some of our setups last year allowed the opposition to continually waltz the ball out of the middle with little or no opposition, cost us the last game against GWS. We really missed Adem Yze last year.

Yet!! Bluey, give them time to gel we have to work out who our best fwdโ€™s are, ie, Rooey, Disco, Jefferson, AJ, Langford, Kolt, Tracc, Culley plus what mix of smalls in Kozzie, Chin, Sharpe, Henderson, Pup. We have a lot of options but need to quickly identify the best group going forward.
  16. We really need to get a Demonlander on the FD payroll in an assistant Media Officer role, that would assist our Training reports immensely. What do you think DannyZ and Redleg. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’•
  17. Big thanks Ghostwriter, Demons1858, Demon Jack, Harvey Wallbanger & Kev if you are there, plus all posters and special comments. Pretty light run today, great to hear that Rooey, Petty and Spargs are all in full training and Kolt is back training lightly in boots and hopeful that Jai isnโ€™t seriously injured.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
  18. He was training in the gallery shots on the Dees website, looked fine, also the Kolt looked good running and kicking.
  19. Huge thanks to BBB and his family for what they bought to the MFC, so important for us in our drought breaking year. Although I would prefer that Ben stayed at Melbourne there are clubs out there that need him more than us. Goodbye BBB letโ€™s hope that you can reunite with us at a later stage in your career.โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ˜ช
  20. 44,047 showing today.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
  21. Thanks SONS that is further great news, Casey are getting back in the Groove and are treating our VFL side in a more professional manner. Hopefully as a result of our EOS Reviews. Success breeds success and vice versa.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
  22. It has to be a joke surely, homesick kid leaves his Premiership mates to go home, heโ€™s not coming back.โœ‹๐Ÿ‘Ž
  23. We were out all afternoon and had visitors last night so I was just sneaking a look at the player stats during the game, I thought that Chandler and Disco must have been injured as their stats werenโ€™t moving like everyone elseโ€™s. I watched the game when everyone left. Surprised that no one is mentioning Steven May, he was brilliant as was Salem, Tracc, Clayton, Mr Ed, Max and Spaz. Boweyโ€™s turnovers really stood out as they cost us dearly, as did Billings lack of finishing skills, what was Fritta thinking. His job is finishing. Windsor, Lindsay, Langford, Sharpe and AJ will all be better for the run. We sorely missed Rooey, Petty, TMac and Judd McVee. Letโ€™s hope that Jack Henderson can step up to the plate. The big takeaway for me is our fitness, we ran the game out in 32+ degree heat on the other side of the country and had 14 shots for goal in the last quarter but only managed 5.9. We won all the contested KPIโ€™s and had 63 inside 50โ€™s, we are on the way back. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

You really have to love Brad Green, not only a champion player (who could forget his brilliance against Carlton in that qualifying final in 2000) a great captain, a committed Melbourne person and now an inspirational, generous and thoughtful President. Bravo Brad Green.โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
  25. Not necessarily they are not like for like, AJ is Ruck/Fwd, to provide a chop out for Max. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
