  1. The good news is that we we will get an update from the Club this coming Tuesday night.😁👍
  2. Thanks so much Six6Six from those of us that couldn’t be there in person, Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you and your family as well.👍❤️💙💕
  3. I’ve heard it all now Demonsone, I don’t blame CO for all the negative publicity or for any of his antics over the past 2.5 years, it was Simon Goodwins Fault for being Loyal to his Former Champions. Imagine if he had sacked him at the end of ‘23. 🤬
  4. Personally as much as I hate the Magpies I would love to have Nick or Josh running around in the Red and Blue and let’s face it if you were soft you wouldn’t be playing AFL.
  5. Thanks Startibartfast great to get your take on Friday’s session, love that Windsor is stepping up in the midfield also Kolt Trelley, XT and Harry Sharp. Sharpie has won every race and endurance event to date, maybe King has a plan to harness those crucial skills in’26 and beyond.
  6. It’s been biting us on the Aaaarrze for 2.5 years PF and from memory you were strongly advocating “burning” the place down at the end of ‘24 when all the [censored] was flying around about CO and poor club culture.
  7. When JV is fully fit he will always warrant midfield rotations, even if tagging but probably spend a bit of time forward or on the bench as we blood more of our young guns.
  8. Ha ha ex-Swan Luke Parker, strange call.
  9. Big thanks to Ghostwriter, Demonland, W_J, Harvey Wallbanger, all posters and special comments. I love the detail of the drills and whose involved DL and the player snippets GW and getting Kingy’s input is huge.🙌 Sounds like it was a very torrid session, in very warm’ish conditions how did the boys pull up?
  10. Good luck JB wish you well.
  11. If Disco stays on the same trajectory he will be awesome for us , funny but I have noticed that Disco and Luker Kentfield have similar tough looking body types, when you add in Langford, Culley, Taylor and Onley they have added a height advantage and all look like footballers. Here’s hoping that these six can all fire for us.
  12. Or utilise the players we already have available, Langford, Windsor, Sparrow, Rivers, Culley, Langdon, Lindsay as well as Kozzie, Steele and JV, we have options and we must utilise what we have now not what we wish we had. Who knows what King and Co are planning but I’m sure it won’t be what we expect.
  13. I am hopeful that our coaching group have a better handle on our players emerging leadership talents than we mere mortals on DLand. The playing group would also recognise the leadership potential within the senior and junior groups. Although I admired them immensely I thought that Neita, Jonesy and Vines all lead by example whereas non of the three had great communication skills. Max on the other hand has demonstrated that he has developed the necessary player dynamics and communications skills to lead the team to the top and also defend his teammates and his football club to a very high order. For me it is his as long as his teammates want him, in the meantime it is up to the players and coaching group to identify the onfield and budding leaders to hone their trade from the master.
  14. I like your methodology Turner and given that Tracc CO and now Bowey are out of our top 12, who do you see replacing them?
  15. He needs to be within the Club D_J to get the feel or “vibe” of AFL, he needs to build relationships with the playing group, the coaches, physios, dieticians work out in the gym and on track even whilst he is developing his trade at Casey. With Kalani’s pedigree, height and field and track record I would expect him to break into the team sometime in ‘27 at the latest.
  16. Hmmmn just starting to get my attention with our boys plus our exe’s on show I will definitely be watching the game, how good for big Max to get a Big V as well. It will be bittersweet playing against Hoges, Jacko and Kysaiah in WA colours.
  17. Very sorry to hear that Go Ds, wishing you and your family all the best only time can heal the loss.💕
  18. I find your constant haranguing of our only living premiership coach a bit ludicrous PF Simon Goodwin had a Development team in charge of the younger players ( David Neitz Academy) who’s role was to strengthen and fast track our youngsters through the process to AFL, on the whole they were very successful, unfortunately some players take a lot longer or just can’t make the next step. To constantly blame the Senior Coach for that failure is quite unusual, every year every team has to jettison 6-10 players that can’t make the grade, the coaching group have provide Mathew Jefferson extra time to find his way. And if you go back to finals in 2022 we ran out of Forwards leading into the finals and Harrison Petty was thrown forward to provide a target, he has been used in this fill in role due to our lack of tall competent forwards, that is no longer the case and Petty can return to defense which is his best spot. Also as mentioned by other posters it is time for us all to move forward with the New coaching team and Improved young playing group and look to 2026 and beyond, I believe there is a lot to look forward to.
  19. Big thanks to Demonland, Ghostwriter, WayneWussell, Ditcha, PaulR, Startifastbart, Harvey Wallbanger, Fritta and Turner, all posters and special comments for another excellent training day thread yesterday. Sounded like a lot going on and appreciate the ongoing reports on our injured and rehab’rs.
  20. I really like the sound of the revamped GOF as our walk out song NC, could really get the crowd involved.
  21. Another great reporting day down at Gosh’s yesterday unfortunately overshadowed by Jake Bowey’s serious injury news, but bolstered by a number of new contributors so big thanks to - Ghostwriter, Harvey Wallbanger, Demonland, old55, Melbournepotter, Beelzebub, Hellfire Dub, Melborn4vr, all posters and special comments and as mentioned on the thread every injury creates an opportunity for another player to step up, Petty replaced Tomlinson, Bowey replaced Hunt in our Premiership year. Who steps up for Bowsa?
  22. That is a cruel injury indeed for Jake Bowey, the Lis Franc foot injury has ended a number of careers and seems to take a full year to overcome. Jack Trengrove was never the same after he sustained his. Good Luck Bowsa.🥲
