I reckon 10,000 or less. I remember in 1997 playing west coast at optus and there were like 6000 people there and we got thrashed. I never thought we'd be in that position again. Everyone will have a crack at us in the media for not turning up and I bet the snow jokes come out. Does anyone give us a chance? I know freo did well against the cats but that was on there ground. I for one will be there. Not sure why exactly, maybe cause I've played for the membership

10k would be pathetic, but wouldnt surprise me - the fans have seen NOTHING from the team this year not preseason, not practice games, not regular season. And i for one am getting a little confused with what exactly Bailey is trying to execute, and what makes him so sure that even if he gets it right its a premiership game plan - fuckin over possessing the football HAS NEVER WORKED EVER EVER EVER EVER.

It like Neil Balme is coaching us again.

I guarantee you Harvey already has his team ready to zone off and smash us when we play that pissy precision football and arent up to it.

Ill go, but id like to see Bailey throw his plan C or B out there for the first half and see how we go - the teams confidence is shot by the time Bailey has realised his plan isnt working it is very transparent to opposition coaches.

16k. They'll give tickets away to the Chinese and inflate the numbers.

i hope they do

we'll be lucky to get 16k though because when we did last year, we were still thinking we were around the corner from a win, well atleast i was...now i feel as though, we are absolutley screwed

15k

We are in with a slight chance, only because Freo aren't much better. But Farmer seems to come alive when he plays us....maybe he could get sick before next weekend. Anyway I feel a WIN

As I said, 6,000.

And looking for a reason? Look at Bailey. No idea.

Strangely I will be there - and you know, the Melbourne FC need to get Bailey to say that we will be playing one on one accountable football. The club needs to market "a line in the sand" just like Hawthorn did a couple of years ago - and from that point on Hawthorn improved. It needs to encourage a real physical, tough game against the Dockers

How about the selectors give us some excitement and something to look forward to for those that want to go to the game?

Out - Bruce, Robertson

In - Maric, Valenti

i'll be there, but the way Freo played vs Geelong we'll be 6 goals down before we realise the game has started.

Don't forget C Connelly coached Freo previously - he may give us something - but then again MFC don't have a Pavlich... had a Farmer...Chisolm...Daniher...Gilbert...and Simmonds.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
