Batram - Better every week.

Bell - not his best nor his worst

Bruce - worst kick ever! for a supposed elite midfielder

Carroll - I think did ok, fev had 3 then got a free in the goal square then a kick off the ground until chip was put on him.

Davey - tried really hard today

Dunn - strong hands at one point then brain fade the next

Frawley - Was good to see him, must stay in the side

Green - must play forward

Jamar - useless.

Jones - needs more help to improve his own game.

McDonald - his heart should be on display like phar laps, I'm sure it's bigger

McLean - Our best by a mile, if only we picked him out the 2 times he was alone 40 out.

Moloney - don't know what to make of him at the moment

Morton - pulled out a few times, needs to go harder, but still a class above others

Neitz - 1st quarter all our forwards competed against 3, i feel sorry for the skipper

Rivers - If he leaves I'll cry

Robertson - good effort, pity his radar was focused on mars

Sylvia - playing him down back is a great move.

Wheatley - only good game v cats, i'd drop him for a kid like buckley

Whelan - might be better suited to midfield, forward role.

White - poor disposal and decisions

Wonaeamirri - Starting to look a little lost out there at times.

Jamar- GET RID OF IT!

Missed a goal from 10m out, tripped over his own feet and fluffed the simplest of kicks, failed to sheppard against Betts (smallest man on the ground).

Holland > Jamar

McLean & Rivers- saving graces.

I was deciding whether to say anything but I will. Change your first line last word to "HIM". Jamar is one of the worst footballers to have pulled on a Melbourne jumper. He set the scene with his gimme miss and then when he was in the ruck they got the ball"every" time. As long as we play him and a skipper who has watched the game pass him by ( slow, can't hold or get to marks, doesn't kick goals and can't put any defensive pressure on ) we have no hope of winning a game. None.

Sylvia - Backline good move!

Whelan, thankful you're back!

jamar! what the ...

mclean - massive effort today

davey - starting to rise

jones - fighting as always

melbournefc - a million changes a quarter?

Joeboy - thanks again for this.

I said last week - Jamar never again. Going undersized is a better option than playing him.

Batram - is getting better

Bell - over this guy

Bruce - maligned but good

Carroll - just play frawley

Davey - starting to show

Dunn - only good early

Frawley - keep playing him

Jamar - Meesen, Martin, Grandma (better choices for 2nd ruck right now)

Jones - fix your disposal

McDonald - normal jmac output

McLean - I was impressed

Moloney - very upsetting game

Morton - still so skinny

Neitz - inured to early to really bag

Rivers - pretty good game

Robertson - a better contribution

Sylvia - is definately worthy (of his spot)

Wheatley - not his best

Whelan - he tried hard

White - better than Jamar

Wonaeamirri - tackled, contested possesions

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
